What a day.

What a lovely day.

Yeah, but why would she wear one of those outfits? They seem pretty specific.

She it meant to be a saviour type character isnt she? Maybe she gets put in that costume by the bad guys to mock her or torture her or something. In the world of Mad Max, anything is possible.

People didn't like the use of Verdi's "Requiem, Dies Irae", probably one of the best classical pieces ever made, yet they liked the typical, overproduced type of music (which was cool, but nowhere near as awesome as Dies Irae) used in the last trailer?

Are you serious?

This trailer was awesome!

I'm just glad they didn't use a ''Rule/Change the World'' song like every other ******* trailer the past few months.

Honestly, the first trailer had me more hyped than this one. But I am still super eager to watch this damn thing.

I loved the Verdi in the trailer, thought it really set the trailer apart tonally, IMO.

This trailer is doing things to me on the inside. I feel things.

SPOILER ALERT!

Or maybe, I have an idea that seems valid.
I am calling it now Mel Gibson plays a lead role in the movie as the same character. And he shown in the trailers.

This trailer makes it seem like a lot of explosions and such. Not sure why I'm hearing the content of the trailer itself get such praise(all over my fb). That being said Miller is the man.

I think it looks pretty awesome, but I also think it looks like it will bomb. Mad Max has always been a hard sell for the masses, and these trailers aren't even attempting to hide its inherent weirdness at all.

We live in a world where Guardians of the Galaxy is one of the top grossing movies of the year. Weird is viable.

we'll see. Could be a sleeper hit. My old man loves these ****ing movies, so the older set who know the character will watch.

I think it would do a whole lot better in August. August has been improving for several years as a release slot.

Cant believe this trailer is getting such a luke warm reaction. I've never seen a Mad Max film. This looks incredible! Non stop balls out action but most importantly GOOD LOOKING action.

150 mil though? That's a big ask.

I preferred the music in the first trailer but it's doubtful either will actually be in the movie.

And honestly, I don't know about looking weirder, Mad Max has always been pretty bizarro. The first movie had a villain named "Toecutter".

I think it was how it felt like such an abrupt switch from the music in the first part of the trailer.

Oh yeah and the fetish type look is not new to the Mad Max world, they just seemed to be keen on pushing that weirdness further and as a selling point more so than I recall with the older movies.

We'll see. I don't think Weird will prove nearly as viable with ultra-violence and fetish gear in place of cute kid-friendly characters and a Marvel logo. But I'd be happy to be wrong, because as I said, I think it looks awesome.
