Wait? What? He did?

Was it due to the death of his friend that he couldn't handle it?

Oliver Harper has one of my favorite channels on youtube and he puts alot of work into producing what he produces. Anyone interested in mad max 2 should check out this video. Anyone interested in the big movies of yesterday should check out his channel(the t2 vid in particular is aces).

Not simply retro film reviews, but masses of production and box office/performance insight and other things.

His video commentary on the 70s tv pilot for amazing Spider-Man was one of the funniest things I ever watched.

Just saw a trailer on tv and they had a 5/5 review score for Total Film. Not sure where they got that from as there is no review up yet but might be legit as its on the advert.

Oliver Harper's videos are a favorite of mine as well.

James Berardinelli tweeted "Mad Max...wow", and said his review will be up the 13th.

I love his videos as well. I especially like it when he brings his friend Duncan on, that guy is both insightful and hilarious. He basically spent most of their X-Men First Class review making fun of Michael Fassbender's Irish accent, and it was hysterical.

His friend was his producer in just about every film he made, and they worked especially close on the Mad Max films. He and George spent a lot of time working together to get the Aussie film industry up to scratch and when he died George lost his biggest collaborator and couldn't bring himself to go through all of Thunderdome.

15 fresh, 0 rotten. A crazy 9.2 average.

Looking good so far. :yay:

I see this on Thursday evening and now having a few days to really process it.....I think this is one of the best action films of the modern era. It's really ****ing alley as the adverts look. I don't know how everyone is going to see this, but see it in IMAX if you can. George Miller and co.....

The RT score could be big here. I hope a nice high score can help the BO here.

It's been projected to open to about $40 million right? I hope this pulls an American Sniper and doubles that. It really deserves it.

It is nice to see that the amazing trailers might actually reflect the quality of the film.

I really hope this movie does well. Hardy is signed on for three sequels. Think about that ****.

I wonder if Fury Road will become the best reviewed film of the Summer and whether the audience will agree and make it a leggy hit. The trailers were excellent, I still think it will over perform this weekend.

I think the fact that it will be such a simple approach (a long chase scene) to a movie will turn off a lot of audience members.

I'm sure I'll end up loving it though. In the end that's all that really matters to me.

I haven't seen any of the previous films (I know, I know...I'm working on it). Is this a complete reboot or is it more of a sequel? Will watching the other three affect my enjoyment of this one?
