Mad Max: Fury Road - Part 6

reading this thread i found out that stunt woman Olivia Jackson was injured. she was Theron's stunt double in Fury Road. she had an accident filming Resident Evil and her arm had to be amputated. :csad:
this is very old news but it shocked me that this could happen while filming a movie.

Oh man, that really sucks. :csad: I'm glad she's ok otherwise.

Yeah, there's a lot of timing regarding stunts, that's why they have to do rehearsals. But even then, stuff can go wrong.

I simply have no interest in the black and white version, the colours in the movie are part of what makes it so enjoyable, the b n w version would lose some of that.

I'm interested in the black and white version I. That it is color times and shaded to make use of that kind of scheme, not just desaturated like the fan edits that went around. Just as with pre color films, black and white films have their own styles and use of shadow to convey mood. I'm interested in seeing Miller take that on.

Well stunt driver Conway Wickliffe died while rehearsing for The Dark Knight (which was dedicated to both him and Ledger in the credits), so unfortunately stuff happens.

It comes out in Germany in October so Im going to import it. Its cool the US is getting a stand alone release of Fury Road so peoplw dont have to buy the wholw collection just to get the Black and Chrome edition.

Cool, I expected them to release the chrome edition separate from the color.

i'm both happy and mad that they've done this bcause now i have to buy another copy of this movie

miller better get on that sequel now or else

"Blood and Chrome Edition...will be available Dec. 6 in a two-disc set with the original theatrical release ($30) and also as part of the Mad Max High-Octane Collection ($55 for DVD; $80 for Blu-ray). The latter collects the full quartet of films — including Mad Max (1979), The Road Warrior (1982), and Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (1985) — along with a movie-length documentary on the saga and a making-of featurette on The Road Warrior. Both packages contain Miller’s introduction.

i was afraid that they just made it black and white. in this video i see that they changed the contrast and other things. this looks like a complete job. fantastic.

This IS NOT A DRILL!

The BLACK AND CHROME VERSION IS NOW AVAILABLE TO STREAM ON AMAZON!

Six bucks to rent, twenty to buy.
