"Make America Great Again"the F'dup Chapters in American History (The Trump Years) - Part 4

I'd say he got slapped down by the adults in our government. Either everyone, the FBI, and both republicans, and democrats, saying it's absurd embarrassed him. That's what you get for not listening to your FBI/CIA briefings, and instead getting your news from Brietbart. Or he was told he just blabbed classified info over Twitter, and needs to shut up about ongoing investigations.

I'm in agreement it's all a distraction. Everytime Trump gets squeezed he says something stupid, and drops it a few days later. Meanwhile the republicans are passing some messed up things, and enjoying the distractions more than Trump. They are quietly eliminating the EPA, and Department of Education. As well as making healthcare costs rise as you age, and causing healthcare premiums to jump by 30% if you let it lapse. All while we focus on Trump's inane Tweets.

Edit - I mean it's OK to talk about his Tweets in here, it's a thread about Trump. I just mean to a lot of people Trump's Tweets are the only news they care about. A lot of bad things are being passed right now that should receive attention too.

Here's a far right website 'covering' the Trump wiretap story. Either you'll get a laugh, or a migraine from stupidity.

http://www.thegoldwater.com/news/1616-The-Judges-Who-Approved-The-Trump-Wiretap-By-Obama

Spoiler, it's not just the, "very terrible, and treasonous Obama", but apparently the corrupt judge's, and the Clinton's "colluding" as well. With the mainstream media covering it up. It's a scary to think that websites like this are where our current president, Trump, gets his news from.

Equally concerning is this article names these judges in this looney toons gibberish. Since Trump turned on judge's, I've felt wary that anytime judge's names are put out there that some crazy person will attack them.

Edit - Just look at their latest articles at the bottom of the page. "The honorable Ben Carson's slave remarks". "300 possible terrorists admitted in under Obama". "Trump to set corrupt Obama's moonlight...". "Civil War 2.0 brewing"....

...and Trump, and his supporters call everything but this fake news? What do you have to be on, and how much of it to honestly believe this crap?

And now all his tweets today have nothing to do with the wiretapping. Instead going on and on about all the "great" things he thinks he'll do.

He's caused the damage he needed from the false accusation.

Now it will grow and his followers will believe him. It's a virus that's spreading

I am watching the White House press briefing and I am actually starting to feel very bad for Spicer. He clearly realizes how full of **** the Obama allegation is, but he cannot say that and also has to keep unequivocally saying how Trump doesn't regret what he said and won't take it back. His behavior is consistent with reports of Trump's mentality and incredibly insightful into the inner-workings of the Trump West Wing. We've heard that Trump took issue with the portrayal of Spicer and Sessions by female actresses on SNL because it "makes them look weak." We've heard that Trump was furious about Sessions recusing himself because it "makes him look weak." This is a man who sees even the slightest image of concession as a complete defeat and indication of weakness. This is a man who believes that the world is as black and white as "there are winners and there are losers and I am a winner and no one on my staff can even show any bit of flexibility or they are losers." It puts Spicer is such an unenviable position. He knows that he cannot concede anything. But when you refuse to concede, even when photographs prove you wrong (i.e. inauguration) you lose credibility. Credibility is currency in Spicer's position. And less than two months in, Trump has forced him to spend all of his currency. I really do feel bad for the poor guy.

That said, when he does inevitably resign/get fired during a Trump temper tantrum, I look forward to his book.

Yeah, Spicy is clearly trying to balance his two audiences, the press and Trump.

Spicer knew what he was signing up for. It is not like Trump and unbelievably blatant lies are a new thing.

I don't think any of the establishment wing knew just what they were signing up for.

Oh my god hahahahaha.

I don't feel bad for anyone who backs orange Mussolini.

It's called karma.

Bingo. Spicer, Conway, Huckabee-whatshername... all of these A-holes knew exactly what they were getting into. And it's the same with every single Republican in Congress who supported him. They're all complicit in his treason. They no longer have the right to call themselves "patriots", because they either support a president who is likely a pawn for a murderous Russian dictator, or at the very least, they don't care.

What's funny, I read an article saying that outside of the press briefings Spicer is actually very open with news outlets and says his door is always open to them while doing his best to give them information that he can. He just happens to work for an insane person which makes his job very hard.

Yeah, Spicy isn't allowed to run the briefings like he would want to.

Wow, I feel so much sympathy for an instrument of Trump's propaganda machine!

Please. Direct your sympathy towards those that actually deserve it.

She has been for awhile. If she wasn't so obviously bias I'd watch her more often. She was great at uncovering wrongdoings during the BP oil spill. Times like these bring out the best in her. It's when nothing major is happening that she tends to veers off course, IMO.

It's true, but I find her honesty about her leanings comforting. Whereas other people, with shows too, literally lie to our faces about being down the middle or pretending like they're not one way or the other.

I think alot like how Keith Olbermann had found a sweet spot, and did amazing work, during the Bush years...I think Maddow is quickly becoming the same. She's going after facts, so that even with her Liberal bias...it's pretty hard not to see the validity of what's being reported. And, she would hit the Obama administration over things as well. She was very critical with how the previous administration had effectively gone (back) to war without the approval of Congress, and how they'd lied about no boots on the ground, when there were (and still are) infact boots on the ground.
