With luck the GOP in congress will wake up and understand there is no upside to being seen as aiding this floundering WH. They should get out ahead of this and fast track subpoenaing Trump's taxes and then let the chips fall where they may.

Holy... Flynn is testifying in exchange for immunity according to WSJ. The dam starting to break maybe?

Flynn's lawyer, who's still trying to get him an immunity deal to testify has said that his client, Flynn has "a story to tell".

Well, s***...

What's even funnier, is just watching a clip of Flynn criticizing the former Clinton aide who had gotten an immunity deal to testify saying that anybody who tries to get immunity has obviously committed a crime.

Everything the Trump campaign has said about Clinton has effectively boomeranged back and become true about them. Karma is, evidently, very real.

More like, they project like hell.

waiting for trumpanzees to try to connect this to hillary and obama

Well then, things are gettiing fun.

You guys are getting your hopes up. As long as Republicans control Congress, Trump stays. Look at all the scandals Bush went through (WMD, Abu Ghraib, Valerie Plame) and now he's hugging Michelle Obama and everyone acts like he as a kind gentle President.

I don't entirely disagree, but there are a few differences. I think Bush should be in prison. I still do. That said, there is a LOT of smoke here. And we're talking about colluding with a foreign power. The t word has been thrown around.

Also, you can get away with a lot when you're at war. Trump doesn't have that distraction. I am terrified that he is going to start a war to distract people.

What does make me hopeful is the fact that the relationship between Trump and the Republicans in congress is breaking down... as you can see on Trump's insane Twitter page.

What Bush pulled pales in comparison to what we already know of Trump. Imagine what else will come to light.

In some ways it's best if this keeps going. If Trump gets impeached it's President Pence, working hand-in-hand with congress to **** over everyone who isn't a rich white evangelical man.

The best thing that can happen is for Trump to stay in office with an approval rating of 7%, getting nothing done with a big fat R next to his name.

Do not underestimate their ability to cut and run if necessary.

I mean, the Freedom Caucus aren't friends at this point.

I agree. The GOP is gonna **** us regardless and with Trump the anger from the voting public stays nice and frothy.

If Trump can destroy the Freedom Caucus, his presidency won't be a total waste. I'd say they were fascists, but even fascists understood that countries need some basic social welfare programs.

I think the Freedom Caucus will implode on it's own regardless. Your only position can't be NO and still expect to keep getting voted in.

I don't know, their districts have to be pretty nutty to begin with. Also worth noting that a lot of these crazies represent mostly poor districts. Their voting base is so fanatical, they vote against their own interests.

Look at Alabama, one of the worst states in the union, and they keep sending the same ultra-right conservatives to congress time and time again.

It's all going to depend on how toxic the Trump brand becomes. They want him in power so nothing can actually "stick" to the R's when the policies fail. But as any good politicians does, once being associated with him starts costing them significant votes then out comes the whole "I fought against him the whole time" narrative.

Key differences here being most of what we know about W's messed up administration came well into his second term towards the end and after. Also, most agree that W was more of a puppet than pure evil or malicious.

Of course, most agree Trump is a puppet but W's gaffes where of the aww shucks variety whereas Trump is spewing the hatred spoon-fed to him by Bannon and things he genuinely thinks with little to no understanding on.

Bush didnt commit treason and didnt work with a foreign quasi enemy government to win an election. If the FBI gets enough evidence showing that Trump and others did that I dont think the FBI needs Congress's permission to arrest criminals.

Kinda wishing they kept this under wraps.

Watch him accidentally drink poison.
