The Amazing Spider-Man Marc Webb to return?

I think we need someone of Webb's romantic caliber for the story of Gwen, MJ, and Peter. That story... is going to be a tough sell on the big screen. If anyone can do it, its him. I hope he's back for ASM3 but I demand he come back for at least ASM2. ;)

It will be The Amazing Spider-Man 2, they are gonna save the "Spectacular Spider-Man" and "Web of Spider-Man" for another reboot

There's a chance it won't be neither of them.
I also thought Thor's and Cap's sequel would have the number 2, but they have subtitle, instead.

It's going to be ASM 2.
Sony had a hard enough time getting over the hump of a reboot without risking general audience confusing by retitling Amazing to something else.
I'm sure if they call the next movie "Spectacular Spider-Man" people won't be confused whether or not its a sequel. Its coming out in less than 2 years and will have Andrew Garfield reprising the role.

If suddenly we had a new actor taking over, then people would probably be confused.

I doubt they are saving those names for another reboot. They haven't thought that far ahead. Right now the focus is this trilogy.

They can easily call a reboot "Spider-Man: The Venom Saga" or use subtitles depending on what story arc is going to be in the trilogy.

"The Amazing spiderman 2:The Night that Gwen Stacy died" :csad:
i would like them to use "Spectacular Spiderman"

it kinda was a joke, but maybe I said it too subtly

I hear Sony is seriously considering "Spider-Tusi" as the title of the sequel. Sam Raimi directs from a script by Adam West.

I know that Marvel has the animation rights to Spider-Man, but do they have the TV rights as well? I wish they could just make a tv series for Spider-Man, and really flesh out his stories.

Watch the sequel be The Amazing Spider-Man No More.

They could...But they'd rather give us Ultimate Spider-Man. And I Am The Knight Sam Raimi is competent director and Adam West is a good Batman (given the context). Now Clooney and Schumacher...thats a deadly combo.

OT: Speaking of animation. Wouldn't it be great to have a D2DVD Spider-Man film ala Under The Red Hood & Batman: Year One? The animators for the Ultimate show could really bring us something golden with a serious and good story, because while the show completely sucks, the animation is really good at times.

The Amazing Spiderman 2:The Night that Gwen Stacy died

Just like that with the capitalization errors and all.

oh sorry , did my caps bothered you?:o

I like the death of Spider-Man story arc, I just don't like Miles Morales. I think that would make an awesome animated feature.

Why don't they release a theatrical animated film like Batman: Mask of the Phantasm?

What if they decide to continue the franchise for much longer than just an initial 'origin trilogy'?

What if they had trilogy sagas, so it could be like..

The Amazing Spider-Man: The Origin Saga
ASM
ASM2
ASM3
The Web of Spider-Man: The Venom Saga
WSM
WSM2
WSM3
The Spectacular Spider-Man: Tale of the Sinister Six
SSM
SSM2
SSM3

with director changes and actor changes as needed, and possibly with the sagas having more than 3 movies..

That'd be a dream. *sigh* Sounds so beautiful.
