Well, the relationship between Peter and MJ made it seem like they were still in High school. I always thought that SM2 was pretty good because it was the Raimi movie that actually made Peter look smart, but after watching it again I feel like a lot of the scientific talk was pretty hokey..
I don't even understand why Peter was loosing his powers because "he didn't feel like being Spider-Man".
It, like any movie, has problems.
Peter lost his powers not because "he didn't feel like being Spider-Man." He had a lot on his mind, and it messed with his concentration. Same thing if you can't concentrate, you are not able to do the things you usually do well.
I can't take people that attack things, because they prefer something else seriously at for obvious reasons as well. When people say those movies are "bad" can get away with SM3, and maybe saying SM1 had it's problems but thats about it. It annoys me seeing people who act like these movies are the same quality as Batman Forever. Tobey was a fine Peter Parker, you just hate him because you never got a George Clooney!
You don't have to like mafia films to enjoy the Godfather, trust me. Its an excellent film. I would recommend watching Part 1 and Part II.I never watched the Godfather.. mafia stories don't really interest me.
But yea, I think all movie have issues.

And yeah, every film has its flaws no matter what. Spider-Man 2 to me is the best superhero film, and I absolutely love it. If someone disagrees, then that's fine. Its all opinion.
I think The Avengers is the best superhero film, so yea, opinions.![]()
People who get it. Watch and learn LegendAssemble.
It would be great for Marc Webb to be off this trilogy. They should probably re-boot the story again just so Uncle Ben can get a more motivational death, actually say the right lines, and Peter Parker can stop being so selfish.

I would hate to reboot TASM after only one movie. :P
Didn't Uncle Ben give Peter the same exact speech he gave him in the Ultimate comics? That's what I have heard, so if anything, Uncle Ben said more of the right lines in TASM than in SM1The often-quoted Spider-Man theme of "with great power comes great responsibility" is widely attributed to Uncle Ben. However, this was not initially true. In Amazing Fantasy #15, the original version of the phrase appears in a narrative caption in the comic's last panel, not as spoken dialogue. In fact, Ben has only two lines in the entire comic.
Exactly. If there isn't a sequel, The Amazing Spider-Man isn't that great of a film to watch. I came into the theatre knowing that Webb planned this story that this first film is just one chapter of.
It's nothing like BB where that Joker card could just be an easter egg; this film leaves open Uncle Ben's death with his killer being out there still, Osborn dying, someone mysterious visiting Dr. Connors, Peter's parents being in part of some conspiracy apparently.
It's like when Green Lantern ended and we saw Sinestro pick up the yellow ring, but we'll never see what happens next. Or Superman Returns where we'll never know what will happen with Clark's son.
