liking the Peter. Can't wait to see it finished. Good perspective and action.

My only crit is a compositional thing, the placement of his right hand is right at the corner of both buildings which can create a focus as everything leads to that point. I would either just the arm or reposition him slightly just to take reduce that focus a bit.

I have the perfect idea but I don't think I have the time for it.

So here is my idea, for someone else if they want to draw it:
The EPIC battle of Peter (the Sponge) Petrellie versus Syler

I was imagining it to be like a massive battle, Superman versus Captain Marvel level battle.
or Superman versus Darkseid level battle.

So, the design I had for Claude just wasn't coming, and I started to doodle, and this kid started to look like Micah, so I went ahead with it. The design is heavily based on the Marvel Adventures-style Power Pack, and inadvertently on John Stewart's GL uniform.

Hahaha... thanks. Yeah the bloody mess tend to draw the eye away from the symbol.

The shield is my tribute to Cap

I have to give credit where credit is due. I used templates for the basic shape and structure of the body form, and added the costuming details from my own brain.

I just learned how to do this technique this weekend. I didn't freehand them. I chopped up templates and pictures in photoshop and then used the pen tool on another layer to trace the elements I want and freehand the rest of it. I am not entering Hiro into the contest because he is a little more tracing than Isaac is.

Is it just me or has the lack of entries for the last few contests been very low?

Is it the theme this month that seems to be lacking?
Last month's Ghost Rider contest was a low turn out - some really fine pieces, but a low turn out none-the-less...

I'm hoping things pick up - otherwise I'm gonna give thought to breaking up the band!

I think its a combination of theme and the fact that finals are going on.

For me at least, it's definitely the theme. I don't watch Heroes and there for have absolutely no understanding of the characters which makes it impossible for me to do an entry. At least with the Ghost Rider theme, I could draw Ghost Rider because he's been around forever and I've seen tons of pictures of him, even though I'm not a fan of the character and I've never read his comics.
