Marvel at San Diego Comic Con 2010

I've liked quite a bit of what I've been hearing from Marvel.

I find it hilarious that like 4 or 5 of us immediately decided to drop Avengers upon hearing that. Makes me proud to be a part of this fine community.

I never even picked it up to begin with, so I'm ahead of the curve!

I have liked a lot of the stuff we've heard, in all seriousness; Groot and Rocket Raccon mini, Iron Fist and Power Man series (Granted, not the original 'Where's my money, honey?' PM, but still..), Cosmic Avengers, Waid on Cap. Good stuff

Did they announce anything more official on the Cosmic Avengers book? All I remember is someone coyly asking if people would like a Cosmic Avengers book, but nothing concrete.

No, I don't think they did, but I figured that was a big enough hint that it's happening.

Yeah, I'm sure we'll see something along those lines. They don't ask questions like that randomly. I really hope that's the title Van Lente was talking about.

No I'm not even that big a Thor fan and I saw that and said to myself yep Thor should tower over all of them.

I'm kind of curious what the status of Hank Pym is. Whedon debunked the rumor that Nathan Fillion would play him, but that doesn't necessarily mean he's not in the film at all. Then again, they officially confirmed Renner as Hawkeye and Ruffalo as Hulk, take 3 for that panel and it would've been a great opportunity to officially confirm whoever is playing Pym too, but we got nothing on that front.

If it weren't for the movie news, I wouldn't even remember a thing that Marvel has done this SDCC.

How can you not remember a Rocket Raccoon and Groot mini? Even if you don't read GOTG, even if you have no idea who they are as characters, how could this not stick out in your mind in some way

You know with all this upcoming Red Hulk stuff on the horizon....i'm gettin the feeling that something's going to happen to green hulk. They havent announced anything regarding him AND if you guys recall, the hulk books were absent during the September solicits. It feels like they may be killing him off or something.

Eh, that would be something. I'd prefer him to be in costume, but I could take a scientist-only cameo.

Maybe, the Red Hulk was the Green Hulk all along, and the whole Red Hulk book was just a mad vision of Green Hulk's fractured personality

The more i think about it, the more i think they really are planning on killing green hulk. Or at least getting rid of him in some capacity. Again, there's been zero information about what marvel's planning for him in the future and it seems like something BIG is going to happen in Hulk #24, Loeb's last issue. If Loeb does this then...god help him.

God probably will, since I'm sure it'll still probably sell at least what has been, maybe even sell more if it has such a major death in it

Professor makes the most sense on the Avengers to me, but the gray Hulk would be cool, too. At least he has a personality.

ok from left to right I see ironman, ???, black widow, Thor, Cap, Nick Fury, ???, Bruce Banner,???,???.

can someone fill in the blanks for me?
