Marvel at San Diego Comic Con 2010

Agent Coulson, Hawkeye, Joss Whedon (the director), and Kevin Feige (Marvel Studios' President of Production).

I know this isn't comic related but i just wanted to say i'd never thought i'd live to the day where there's stabbings at geek conventions. Really? This is what we're doing at comicbook conventions now?

Well, it's what one specific person did at this one comic book convention. Probably a person who had some problems beforehand, if the vast majority of other violent crime cases are any indication...

The Spider-Man panel better be good and by good it better be them coming out and going

''We ****ed up big time, so we're fixing everything!"

Screw Bendis and his Ultimate Spider-Man animated series! I want Spectacular Spider-Man back!!! :argh:

:csad:

Carnage? They going to put him back together or introduce a new one, I wonder

A new black and green costume for someone (Spidey) was apparently introduced, and Spidey might be replacing one of the Fantastic Four members.

Slott is the only Spidey writer.

I think it might be for Hobgoblin actually.

Lots of guest stars including the Avengers, Black Cat, Mac Gargan returning to being Scorpion, and Shang Chi.

Q- Any Gwen Stacey plans?

A- Slott said "More decomposing" ie still dead!

I'm good with this.

So, looks like the new status quo for Spidey will be bannered Big Time, will have 30 pages of material each issue, and will be $3.99 a piece if I'm reading Newsarama's transcript correctly. Not sure if anything has been said about how many times a month it'll be coming out that I'm aware

From Newsarama:

1:00 The book will be coming out 2x a month and Slott will be joined by a rotating cast of artists including Stefano Caselli, Marcos Martin, and Humberto Ramos

Eh, it wont stick. I like it better than the Iron Spider costume.

Bwuh, really? I thought we'd seen the last of Carnage so long as Bendis was a prime mover at Marvel...

Haha hence it's a mini. It's probably out-of-continuety Carnage extreeeeeeeemeeeeeeeee stuff, ye know. :D

The neon-green Spidey costume isn't that terrible. With Hobgoblin in the pic it screams Halloween colors and I think those issues are supposed to be around that time.

And how about the Infinity Gauntlet in the Thor movie? HOLY F**K is that cool or what? Plus the Cosmic Cube from the Cap movie is tying into Thor as a treasure of Odin. The Avengers movie is truly gonna be INSANE.

I wonder if the Gauntlet is gonna be another of Odin's treasures. I'm cool with using the Asgardians as a means of streamlining some uber-powerful artifacts' origins. Forget about the Skrulls and the rather involved backstory of the Infinity Gems; the gods made 'em.

IDK but if sets up Thanos for an Avengers sequel in 4-5 years, I'm gonna piss myself.

I'm not sure where I heard it, but it seems that the mini starts off after what the Sentry did to him in outer space...
