I knew this match-up favored Rogue more then Nightcrawler, but I wanted to see who would vote for Nightcrawler, and there reasoning for it. He could in if he played his cards right.

I will assume you meant win and with just what he has HIGHLY unlikely. He just doesn't pack enough power and would tire far too easily.

Nighty has more agility and better weapons training that Rouge. okay, so standards have her as invulnerable, but not inexaustable. he can lead her on a merry chase, and then, give her a few port kicks, and then take her on a bamf express ride (Grab her for a suprise round of rapid teleportation) with that done if she's not on the ground unconsious, she's gonna be heaving her guts from the smoke and the disorientation.

Nighty has more agility and better weapons training that Rouge. okay, so standards have her as invulnerable, but not inexaustable. he can lead her on a merry chase, and then, give her a few port kicks, and then take her on a bamf express ride (Grab her for a suprise round of rapid teleportation) with that done if she's not on the ground unconsious, she's gonna be heaving her guts from the smoke and the disorientation.

Rogue has faster reflexes and is invulnerable enough to withstand any physical attack he can mount. She has far greater endurance and the durability to withstand the strain of teleportation almost indefinately. Besides if he grabs her to teleport then she grabs him at the same time and the party's over.

He is faster than she is and has better reflexes (he's an acrobat for christ sake). and no one can withstand the teleportation indefinitely except for Kurt or TJ who is in england. everyone gets nauseas during one teleportation. plus Kurt is trained to fight with several types of swords, weilding a board or bat in its place will deal some damage to her, though admittedly minimal.

Rogue has withstood the equivalent of anti-tank weapons without harm and has Ms. Marvels faster than human reflexes. When I mentioned her grabbing him back I wasn't refering to her absorbtion power but the fact that she can then use her 50-ton level strength against him. Her invunerability has created some amusing incidents when she proved to be more invulnerable than her clothing.

You do understand tha each time he does this it exausts him far more then any of his punches would exahaust her. Night crawler only has a normal human's strength that engages in regular inteisive exercise. Rogue is at least in the 50 ton range and him hitting her would be like hitting solid steel. It would do more damage to him than it would her not to mention that even if he did grab her it's not like she would just go along with it.

Sure he would bamf and bamf and let go of her or out of her grip but it wouldn't be easy for him. In the end he would run out of steam.

I respect your opinion but Rogue has thrown down with characters far more powerful than Nightcrawler, hell NC can't even take spider-man, no, no he can't. Rogue has gotten into brawls far more savage then one with NC would amount to and come out just fine or close to it. She can throw down with Strong guy and he is far stronger than NC and he has smashed her into walls and straight through them. How fast do you really think NC can redirect her into a wall?

I know you have your own opinion but in this case it's wrong.

What good would that do? She would plow through the wall without harm. If he didn't manage to get off in time he would have his bones pulverized by the impact.

So if he can't take spidey how in the world would he take Rogue? Sure he may have better agility than her but that's about it. She is faster, stronger, has better reflexes and is more durable and each one of those she is not just a little or slighty above NC she is far far beyond him.

He is just in over his head, this really is no contest, plus even if he manages to cause her some trouble, all she has to do it take off her gloves and the party is over.

There is one possible strategy that he may be able to use but he had better watch his back for the rest of his life (or Rogues ). He could lure her into a crowded public place and then try to 'port away with her clothes. I doubt that she would stay to fight.

It doesn't matter what you believe it's a fact. She is! NC only has olympic level abilities at best, which is still human. Rogue is above him, and you are right Spider-Man has and what usually happens when he takes on foes like the Hulk, Venom and the Juggernaut? He usually gets his ass handed to him or he is constantly dodging and trying to come up with an alternative to defeat them.

Plus Spidey is about 100 times stronger than Night Crawler, rouge is about 500 times stronger. There is a difference say spidery fighting venom who is about 5 times stronger than he is and NC fighting Rogue who is close to 500 times stronger. If she can take on being more powerful than herself and take military artilary and come out okay I doubt crashing into some brick or concrete walls is going to phase her.

Kurt's speed comes to nothing if Rouge lands one decent punch, you know he has trouble teleporting when he's in pain, it takes concentration and it takes alot out of him. Dodging Rouge's shots will fatigue him and one sledgehammer shot and Kurt goes Nighty-Night.

I am voting for Nightcrawler. I know how he can defeat Rogue. He can use Spiderman's tactic against Superboy. Why? Because Rogue is "near invulnerable". A powerful dose of electricity can knock her out.
