Last I checked (which was, admittedly, probably a year ago) we were about even......but that's the way she works.

But my god these things have gotten expensive. Remember when 10 bucks got us a great fig, a decent base and a comic book. Honestly now if not for the bafs I'd be skipping on a few figs.

Who am I kiddding

Hell i remember when they were $7.99 with a comic and a base.

The bases of course were eventually replaced with baf pieces which i do love, and at least now we are getting a bunch of figures with alternate heads and hands which would have replaced some of those variants toybiz did back in the day

That's true......

Remember when the bafs were huge. And not hit monkey sized.

Yeah......I remember jesse falcon saying he thought loose hands and heads in a package looked creepy

Its definitely the silverage of mls.

Toybiz was too focused on selling to kids. The price increase and new figs are fully embracing adult collectors now.

And we now have the 4 best bucks for female bodies we've ever had. (red she hulk, storm, moonstone and even a good teenage girl buck with jubilee/spidergirl ) amazing base bodies for women now

Yeah.

I wish hasbro would sell to Costco. ....like a big one shot box set. Every fig in the wave and the baf. ...just all together in one shot. Cheaper and at Costco or something.

I would go for a one figure a month subscription service.

In fact.....that would be great. Put out a subscription service. That gives us.....never mind I was having a dumb idea. But keep doing what they're doing and on the side give us some more obscure guys so we can keep on getting machine man and Odin type guys without another thor or iron man or cap.....yknow.

Sweeet.

If they do it right.

I don't want 2 spideys and 6 movie avengers just to get a whirlwind

I would hope they use this to put out some of the older figs they made that were really limited....like sdcc exclusives. Give us a ghost and gladiator and stuff.....With alterations to differentiate them......and red hulk and spiral and fin fang from. ....yknow.....The stuff I didn't get lol

Id love a legends exclusive loot crate type of service. For figures that may not be released otherwise

Just a Marvel loot crate would be great.....but with stuff I would want lol. Like existing and exclusive legends. And an ongoing loot crate exclusive comic.

Marvel just started something like that. No legends though. I only want a box of stuff of things i want 100%. Not random stuff. I have too much of that junk as is lol

I sold all my MU figures last year because the line was losing quality, articulation, and love. So imagine my surprise to see the new MU line with a $15 price tag. Go home Hasbro, you're drunk. We don't get any name plates and very little accessories if any. Distribution was the main reason I got out of those when I did. When I started collecting them, price was $6 for a single, $13 for the 2 pack.

But with ML being at the $20 mark, it does indeed feel like it's driven to more of the adult collector. And I'm cool with that.

End rant, just going off a topic earlier.

I thrive on off topic.

But on topic.....I'd they ever release that iron man 3 Trevor figure? I'm not looking for one....just wondering if they ever did it

No the third wave was never released. Id really like rescue and war machine from that wave. They looked great

I havet bought MU in more than a year, wow. Back when you got name plates ad accessories. I think my last buy was Luke Cage?

Most are $12 here in the states

Got wasp a month or 2 ago for the mini pack in

Nice. I haven't seen any yet. :(

you really have to be aggressive. they're selling out really quick.

Target
Target got them in first in the US. Target receives shipment on Mondays, Weds and Fridays. A few nice tidbits for target are as follows..

1) these next few waves of legends are using the previous DCPI codes as the Captain America Legends 087-06-2560 and unfortunately it's looking like the Spidey wave will use the old spidey code, and the Ant-man legends wave will probably use the Guardians of the galaxy DCPI number. This is unfortunate for target, because if your target is loaded with cap figs.. it may be a while until the Avengers Legends come in, because the person who orders items for the store is going to think they already have plenty

2) to help with this , there's different things you can do. 1 is to go to target.com and check store availability of the cap wave... if they say "out of stock" or "limited availability" one day, and then "in stock" the next... they got the Avengers wave in.

3) you can also put in the DCPI number on the price scanners in store to see if they have any in the back. But it will count the cap figs as that.

4) some genius created this website http://brickseek.com/target-inventory-checker you can put a DCPI number into the search, and it will show you how many "cap figs" are at each target. So that's a good way to estimate or judge what store got them in. IF they have a really high number of cap figs.. they likely got the avengers wave in. And of course if they have a low amount 1 day, and a larger amount the next.. that's also an indicator

5) finally for target... CALL. it always helps to call and ask on a monday, weds, or friday morning and simply ask if they received a shipment of "marvel legends" I told them "they're single carded figures, in a black box, the sides of the box have black and white images (not blue, not red, not purple... black and white) and the top left of the box reads "Build a figure: The Allfather" yeah you feel like a nerd, but it gets the job done. If they have the figures, Target will put them on hold for you in customer service.

Toys R Us
TRU just got these in, there's no dcpi trick with these.. you can either order these online when available, or call the store. They too will put these on hold for you

Amazon
check often. they randomly put them up. The last time they went up was 2am on saturday. They are however charging $21.99 for retail when they do have them in stock (anything higher is a marketplace item, not amazon parent)

Walmart, Hasbrotoyshop.com, and Meijer and Kmart (if you still have one) to my knowledge have not gotten them in yet. though walmart and meijer have started prepping for aisle changes.

Lastly... TheFwoosh.com has been such a blessing I've befriended a great group of collectors in near by area. And we look out for eachother. I got this wave because 2 of them found figs in the store, put them on hold for me, and i went during luch or after work to pick them up. We text eachother with they're up.

Also the Fwooshers all help each other up during SDCC, someone usually creates a mass group text and whenever the exclusives go up, they send a mass text out for us to go online and make our purchases.

DAMMIT I have no cash to spend til next week! Hope ours hasn't gotten anything yet

Also... it's very likely the spidey wave will start popping up within the next 2 weeks in the states... and i suspect from the fact we now have packaged pics of Avengers wave 2... those will start popping up either around the same time, or 2-3 weeks after the spidey wave hits....

it's going to be a really heavy legends year...

-Avengers Wave 1
-Spider-Man Legends
-Avengers Wave 2
-Shield TRU 3 pack
-Antman Legends
-Avengers Legends Wave 3
-SDCC Box Set
-un-named 3 pack
-comic version of the GOTG box set

and that's just what we know of

What's in this spidey wave again?

DD. .......The hobgoblin baf right? That looks frikkin sweet

Thanks Spideyboy. I just found out (the hard way) that walmart.com is not up to date. I saw them on the website, did not hold for pickup like I should have, dude was restocking the toy aisle and had no idea what I was talking about. He said no, just because it's on the site as available at the location it said, does not mean it's on the peg. Bummer. Lesson learned. Buy it!!
