Marvel Legends, Selects, Universe- Thread - Part 2

Nico? Awesome! Not sure how much I'd want her if we don't get the rest of the Runaways though. She fits in Better with them than any other magicians IMO.

I've got to say, I'm less than thrilled with this wave. I'll likely only Nico and Mordo if this turns out to be true. I was really hoping for the likes of Nightmare, maybe tie in to Midnight Sons for a new Blade, Dracula to go with him.

I don't have a Dr. Strange figure so I'll probably nab this one, assuming it's the classic costume and a good mold.

Maybe the iron fist too, if he's based on the Aja version (collarless but still green).

I think I'll sit this one out. I might get the movie Strange to hang with my movie Avengers, but this wave does nothing for me.

Mixed feelings about this list....

- Iron Fist - (I guess they wanted another heavy hitter?)
- Dr. Strange - (surely classic version)
- Nico Minoru- (easily the gem of the wave.. and biggest pleasant surprise)
- The Ancient One- (The Biggest surprise (and least deserving) would have preferred Clea or Wong over The Ancient One)
- Brother Voodo (a pleasant surprise. I like the one we got from SDCC, so maybe this will be his classic look?)
- Karl Mordo (hopefully this is comic based... the fact it says "Karl" instead of Baron" has me troubled
- Dr. Strange (Movie) - A given
- Dr. Strange Astral Form (Movie) - Even more of a Wasted spot than The Ancient One.... seriously.. Astral Form strange should be the Walgreens exclusive...

I'm happy to get Nico.. but shocked we arn't getting a normal sized classic Dormamu, Nightmare, Clea, Wong, or a Mindless one to army build.

I still want that SDCC set not for$267 !! these look pretty cool

That head add looks photoshopped in. Doesnt look like its really on the back of the box. There's alot of online companies casting and painting heads these days. This would be the first ive heard of it with strange... so thats what im thinking it is. Just a add from a site offering head sculpts and not official by marvel select

This area didn't have any of that set at the Walmarts or Target, I don't think we even have a Meijer.
To get Valkyrie from that set, I had to check the three Walgreens we do have and lucked out at the last one. All the Walgreens have from Legends is the Ant-Man stuff and the new Yellow and Red DD

It IS a picture of my box tho. The head is pic is photoshopped onto the photo on the package and isn't a sticker.

I have the Arnim Zola Wave Drax. And Marcel universe Rocket racoon with the baby Groot. So.....it would be 4 new figures for me and the different Drax. Any thoughts

But seriously, I'd say it's worth it, just seeing them in package at my LCS, Boxset Drax > solo Drax.

the Box set is SOOO worth it... even for Gamora alone.. she's gorgeous. the new drax is way better as well and i actually prefer this head sculpt for rocket too.

and thanks for the shout out buddy. I love my repaint for Chameleon and Jameson. Also just stuck Silvermane's head on the IML3 ultron body.
