Marvel Movies Hulk Was Better Than.

Superman and Batman are okay, sometimes, but that's usually it. I did, however, like that Justice League cartoon; that's where I got a lot of my DC knowledge.

Ugh,Superman really sucks. Why can't there at least be one good Superman movie, why????

One thing really really really pisses me off about Wolverine from the X-Men movies, his suit. I don't care what anyone says,I know damn well that he could have got his classic suit, one that could look kickass. Like he could have at least wore most of it minus the mask, but no!

I wonder if there are any fitting pics or concept art for it. The first X-Men came out when I was 16,and didn't know about it until opening day when I saw it.

I would just like to say; if you think Hulk was better than Iron Man, you are mentally ill and need medical attention, immediately.

I consider Hulk to be one of the better comic book based flicks around. It lagged in some parts and got a bit out of control at the end, but I really enjoyed a majority of the film. In ranking it with the other Marvel movies, I'd place it near the top. Heres my list.

The ones below Hulk.

Elektra
Spider-Man 3
Fantastic Four
Fantastic Four 2
Daredevil
X-Men 3
Iron Man
The Punisher
Ghost Rider

And I just want to end in saying Ghost Rider was one of the worst films I've seen. I'm sorry to see a character with such potential get butchered the way it did.

Merely an opinion. Iron Man had its moments as well. It just didn't really strike me the same way the Hulk did. I'm an avid Superman fan, and I feel that Hulk is sort of in the same boat as Superman Returns. There were some really fantastic parts, and beautiful visuals and the story had such potential to be great, but it just lacked something that really set it apart from the rest. That being said my top three favs are prob. Batman Begins, Spider-Man 2, and X-Men.

(this is excluding all Superman films because I am biased)

What's so great about the hulk anyway? They try to make it seem all complex and whatnot, with all the pysch talk, but in the end the plot's simple. The father mutates hmself and his child; the father's child discovers and unleashes the power; the father wants it back; the father gets it back; the father can't control it; the father gets nuked.

I'm very glad Marvel is rebooting the Hulk movie franchise.
:woot:

So let's name the Marvel movies that Hulk was better than!

Elektra
Daredevil
Spider-Man
X3
Ghost Rider
Fantastic Four
Fantastic Four 2
Blade: Trinity
Spider-Man 3
Man-Thing

Agreed. They both had their moments, but both failed to deliver what Iron Man accomplished.

I rate Iron Man as a 4.5/5, but Iron man's biggest accomplishment was Robert Downey Jr. You take him out and the movie is not close to be that good.

I just really don't understand why lots of people here like Lee's Hulk movie so much. I can say with lots of confidence that TIH is going to be more of a crowd pleasre than Lee's Hulk movie, but if I am wrong I will admit it then when the time has come. Speaking of TIH movie,IMO it looks MUCH BETTER on television based on the trailers.

If I had to rated Lee's Hulk movie out of 10,it would be a 2/10

+1 for the idea of a skinny man turning green, big, and pretty strong, the proper origin for Hulk being used, for having nice cinematography

+1 for having action even though it didn't seem enough for me and for passable acting, dialog, and straight forward story

-1 for bad pacing

-1 for lame CGI Hulk design

-1 for mutant dogs

-1 for not having enough of Hulk fighting in the movie

-1 for Absorbing Man's lame CGI design and for Hulk's dad turning into him(Absorbing Man)

-1 for unexciting action

-1 for weak dramatic moments

-1 for forgettable music, boring Bruce Banner moments,no comedy, the movie being largely CHARISMATIC IN A TERRIBLE WAY.

Are you critizising a Hulk movie for having no comedy???

Can anyone critizise a Frankestein movie or Jekyll & Hyde movie for having no comedy in them? Is it The Omen bad for lack of comedy?

Meh,Batman was a serious comic book movie and people were fine with it for having comedy in it.:o

I think every fictional story, needs just a little bit of comic relief.

Being "fine" with some comedy in it doesn't equal to comedy being necessary so the movie is bad because it doesn't have any.

Actually no. But, why do you say so?

A couple of movies with no humor that people loved:

Godfather films
Shawshank Redemption
Silence of the Lambs
Memento
American History X

...just a few I found on imdb's top 250 alone. So I don't get how someone can say a reason a movie sucks is because of lack of humor. Does every film have to follow the same formula?

I never said that a movie with no humor sucks; I just said it's nice to have a sense of humor at least once. I'm not saying that people have to be cracking jokes every five minutes, I'm saying that maybe someone could just say or do one thing, at the expense of someone else's pride.

Everyone can't just go around being all serious and/or depressed. Someone has to have some kind of a sense of humor, even if it's subtle or sarcastic.

People, maybe. Movies can be tragic with no trace of forced humour and survive. Now, a good natural sarcasm might be quite fitting.

Does every film have to follow the same formula?

Hollywood people think so many times. On the basis that if something worked for A it must work for B. That's how they ruined many scenes of Batman begins.
