Doctor Spidey said he couldn't tell if the Spider symbol had four up and four down or eight down:

Boy, in all the images I saw (on a phone btw) the black front spider was too small to notice that detail.

The video seems to showcase all of the elements that Doctor Spidey described:
- Romita sr. lenses
- Classic chest spider
- No armstripes like the USM cartoon
- Simplified web pattern like the USM cartoon

Oddly enough, Mayimbe was spot-on with his Suicide Squad trailer description, I really hope he's going to tell us that Spidey is at the SuperBowl.

I couldn't care less whether or not he has a faceshell. I do think, however, that they should either only use the top half of one or use CGI to make it so that whenever Spidey is talking, and it's a closeup of his face, his freaking jaw moves like a regular person. These two scenes from previous movies made it blatantly obvious that Spidey was wearing a faceshell, and I noticed it the first time through watching both of them. It's bugged me ever since.

Notice how when Spider-Man talks, his jaw doesn't move? That's my only problem with face shells. It pulls me out of the film. But if they can fix that somehow, then I'm all for it.

God, please let this be significant to CW! It's probably nothing special, though.

I don't know how people think El Mayimbe is a phony? Nobody just guesses the entire 2nd Suicide Squad trailer down to the lyric in the background. The guy obviously has sauces. He may exaggerate some things now and then, maybe adds some spices to the sauces here and there.

But I'm convinced he's legit.

I like the arm stripes though. And maybe the only reason the web pattern is simplified for the cartoon is so that the artist won't have to draw that each time. It won't be an issue for live action.

Yup, he definitely has sauces.


He does get things right on occasion, but not nearly as much as what he gets wrong / guesses / makes up.
