I don't know how people think El Mayimbe is a phony? Nobody just guesses the entire 2nd Suicide Squad trailer down to the lyric in the background. The guy obviously has sauces. He may exaggerate some things now and then, maybe adds some spices to the sauces here and there.

But I'm convinced he's legit.

There are times he's ended up right and times he's ended up wrong. Personally, what mainly puts me off (and not that eager to seek out his site or his 'scoops'), is his ego. The way he interacts with others (particularly with those who happen to disagree with him).... his ego is inflated to a ridiculous degree and he largely shows a display of feeling himself more important than he probably is (especially (at least some of the times) when he's been wrong and I've seen him boast the 'well they changed their minds/rewrote the scene because I scooped their plans' excuse for why his scoop didn't pan out/didn't turn out to be true). And I'm sorry, but I doubt there will be anything that will make me overlook the unprofessionalism that he (or whoever happened to be running his site's twitter account that day) showed when they got in a twitter argument with James Gunn over the identity of Star Lord's father.

Anywho... this thread isn't about eh maybe.

Do I think we'll see Spider-man in the next CW trailer? Possibly. It won't surprise me if we don't, however (as they may still be trying to work out the marketing issue with Sony)

You pretty much just hit the nail on how is ElMayimbe really. I myself am kinda in the middle, he basically was spot on with the Suicide Squad Trailer but i think he also was claiming that they should reveal the Han Solo actor for the solo movie when they weren't even casting.

Spidey, probably Team Iron Man but he'll supposedly switch to Caps side. Then again, there was a rumor suggesting his first interaction is with Cap during his fight with Crossbones. That just gave me an idea. Cap and Spidey take down Crossbones together and Cap gives Spidey advice. Some saying or something inspirational. Peter goes on to join Stark in CW but remembers Aps words mid fight and joins his side again. Or something like that. Either way I am now 100% sure from the tidbits that is what will go on with Spidey.

I personally don't really care for Spidey switching sides. It's OK but I'd prefer for him to go his own way and during the final battle he concerns himself with saving people and showing the others what they have become and how far they have strayed from what they originally set out to do. So whilst he doesn't have the biggest role, he has an extremely important one by being a wake-up call to the others.

Also add in the fact that it's someone that young giving the other, more older and established heroes a wake-up call and you have a great deal of importance with Spider-Man heading into his solo film the following year.

Exactly sunshine :)

And to me, that is more like Spidey than we have ever seen on film.

What Eggy described kinda feels like Peter representing that with Great Power must come Great Responsability.

Exactly right. That's Spidey's core and everything he does should come from that.

To Spidey it shouldn't be about sides. It should be about doing what's right.

Spider-Man should wear the red and blue costume while on Cap's side, and the Iron Spider costume while on Iron Man's side. Then, at the end, he can wear a combination of the two to show he is on no-one's side or everyone's side. :o

Hahaha, what a funny story Dark Raven.
Just joking by the way.

Last time Mayimbe had a spider-man scoop, Asa Butterfield was spidey
