it going to be great once we finally have more official stuff to go on and actually talk of. But relating to civil war and superbowl i dont know if disney doing it for civil war as a spot for the film itself. As i seen a few other disney films ie alice and i think it was jungle book getting mentioned for spots last day or so. Then there is a report of the coke commerical with the marvel guys. That could be what we get for civil war. As next trailer probably droping post superbowl.

I think they have already confirmed that they do have something during Super Bowl, I THINK.

And being in the UK I shall most likely miss all the fun. :csad:

Cuz what are the odds Marvel and Sony worked out the marketing stuff just in time for the Super Bowl? And even if they did, they might still want to hold off on showing him.

It could also be that the Russos have been being intentionally vague when it comes to Spider-Man because they know EXACTLY when they'll utilize him in the marketing campaign.

Or not.

If they worked out a deal, I highly doubt they'd not show him in the Super Bowl spot. What would be the point in not showing him? I mean the Super Bowl will be your largest audience.

But the trailer will be released online, like rigjt after it airs on the SB.

Technically, the Russos said that they're still figuring out the uses they have for him on commercial and promotional level, so for all we know, this negotiation could have been going on for months and maybe they wanted to get it resolved just in time for the Super Bowl. Because if Spidey's going to be revealed anywhere, it's GOING to be the SuperBowl.

And they'd be insane to not show him at the fricking Super Bowl.

It's the Super Bowl, Civil War is having a trailer, as much as there is a 50/50 to having or not a tease of Spidey, the hype is there.

Can I just get a consensus of what the reaction will be if they drop a CW trailer without showing Spider-Man?

Personally, I wouldn't be disappointed at all, well maybe just a hair disappointed at greatest. At the very least, at least we are going to be getting new footage entirely. If you got a new trailer with everything in it (I'm talking Giant Man, Black Panther, Vision, Crossbones, Zemo, etc.) save for even a fraction of a glimpse of Spider-Man, would you be angry? It's about delivery, and they can deliver without Spider-Man, who is going to be a real treat if we do get him. Spider-Man can only make a trailer better, but he should not make the trailer

We're gonna see him in March or April if we don't see him on February 7th

, especially the bolded.

If Spidey doesn't appear during Super Bowl, i will be completly fine.
Night everybody.

I guess i'm the only one on here who will be disappointed.

How disappointed are you talking? Of course we will all be a little bit sad if we don't get even a peek at Spidey, but if it is going to ruin the trailer for you, that's not a trait you want to possess
