Looking at some pics of Nathan Drake, he's a cocky american everyman.

There are more layers to the characters. It's good to give the benefit of doubt before judging.

At least Trailers sold me on Drake. Nothing has sold me on the new Dante. Drake also wasn't a re-design of an already existing and beloved character.

And that's is all the reason for the hate. The re-design. It's justifiable to hate the change, as I also did, but having the character as the most hated based on looks points only towards the prejudice. That's pretty silly to me. Noone knows anything about him.

We know that he replaced a perfectly fine character and also replaced heavy metal with punk. I don't like punk.

I'm also pretty sure that My Chemical Romance Hilary Swank Dante is just a terrible design through and through.

Thats not even mentioning the completely uninspired new world that looks like a disorganized mishmash of seizure inducing colors with N64 quality textures.

Me neither, I prefer heavy metal and so does Dante, but that superficial detail doesn't tell everything about him. Who would guess that a guy like Dante likes strawberry sundaes and pizza without olives? This is just another layer there is to his character. Same thing with the new one. We have yet to see anything of his personality. The hate is on the changes, not on the character.

These people don't know what they're hating. I'll wait and explore the character before I can point any finger and say that he sucks and I will do if he does.

OMG...LOL. Oh and in typical Capcom fashion, you'd have to pay for DLC to get old Dante as an alternate skin

and it's going to cost $20 ( which is half the price of the actual game )??!!

now I know why Capcom priced the game @ $40..........the rest of the $20 is being saved for costumes..............

plus........DLC costumes don't really add much replay value........

by then the game will have been out for almost 4 months.......do you really think someone's going to go back and play the game more just for some costumes?

stuff like those costumes should be available as in-game unlockables........

paid DLC should really be reserved for stuff like NEW CHARACTERS.....y'know.....things that actually add value to the game......
