There's a rumor going around that Zero will be getting MMX as his alt costume. Maximum trolling activated.

Its already been revealed that he now has a new X (Enhanced Armor X) as an alt, and he already had a regular armor X alt in MvC3. What I don't understand about his new UMvC3 X alt is why is his hair blue?! If his hair is supposed to mimic X's hair underneath the helmet, X's hair is brown (even when X's armor upgrades his hair is brown), never blue. Zero's new X-look would be perfect if it wasn't for the dumb blue hair.

From what I can make out of the (likely doctored) pic: Capcom has M. Bison, Cammy, Megaman X, and Gene. Marvel has Gambit, Psylocke, Black Panther, and Black Widow.

I believe that picture was debunked two or three weeks ago, before the last four reveals. That, or Capcom coincidentally decided to change the artwork and placement of only Nova, Phoenix Wright, Rocket Raccoon, and Frank West. Also, some of the artwork for the 8 alleged new characters looks so out of place.

No. It'd be an actual alternate costume, not alternate colors. Like the pre-order bonuses & the one DLC pack with STARS Chris & classic Thor.

I haven't been keeping up, but could I just buy an old copy of the regular MvC3 and then just download the new things in Ultimate as a DLC? I found a potential copy for $10, and if I could just get that and upgrade I'd do it.

I never did like the 3 Vs. 3 change. I wish there was an option to go back to 2 Vs. 2.

Also, FAIL on Capcom for making Jill's alternate her costume from RE3 instead of her STARS uniform.

It kinda makes sense. Chris's DLC costume goes with Wesker's, and Jill's goes with Nemesis. Both sides having alts that go with their rivals.(even if the latter only applied for one game) Nobody is left out.

It'd be nice still to be able to create a Stars Team with Chris, Wesker and Jill though.

Anyways I give them effort, but I hate that they still have her control device on her RE3 outfit. In fact I still don't understand why they have the control device on her in the first place, can't they achieve what they want with the character and have it after she's broken free of Wesker?
