Marvel vs. Capcom 3

Haggar surprised me. I took out my best friends team of Deadpool, Dante and Wolverine with Haggar.

Playing as Dante is fun but it's twice as fun to beat a Dante user online. A billion moves yet I was able to beat them with Spencer. :awesome:

****'s with everyone using Dante?

All I fight online are people using Dante and Akuma and 1 other random. And from you guys, like 80% of you use Dante.

What time does the Playstation Store usually update? I wants my head cop Steve look.

Because We like Dante  he immediately became a staple for my team upon the 1st use in the training room figuring out all of what he had to offer.... Dante is arguably my favorite character in the Vs Franchise next to Tekkaman Blade

Dante's okay, but he's as much a product of this decade as Cable was of the 90's.

Has anyone fought a lot of higher ranked people who use Sentinel? Because I ran into four different high rankers in a row and they all had Sentinel. This just has me wondering....

Sentinel's strong, tough and can be very cheap. Makes a lot of sense that he's popular with the ultra competitive crowd.

Speaking of Sentinel, I found this on Gaf.

That was the ending of several matches on the Winter Brawl stream. Thankfully, Phoenix is a hard counter to Sentinel, and many players are starting to use her.

This game is my intro to the character... I never played any of the DMC games... though I'm now interested in the reboot.

Niether have I, but Dante's attitude, design, armory, and overall character just screams 2000-2010, doesn't it?

I will definitely try to learn MODOK more. He's getting more interesting.

Oh, and I must say that Spidey is about as boring as Spencer imo. Spider-Man is SO underwhelming, he could do so much more with his webs and all. I actually thought Capcom would add some interesting moves to him in this game.

I would use Spidey more if it wasn't for his Web Swing to have that annoying Z-commando that literally makes it impossible for me to use it in a combo. Taskmaster can do that with just H-> and that alone makes him alot more effective than Spidey. Oh, and Spidey's uppercut is pretty pointless imo. His lvl1 Hyper is damn good though since it can hit everywhere on the screen, but the rest suck if you ask me.

No, not really. His look and design isn't all the uncommon in a lot of Japanese entertainment, even before the decade. Not to mention I don't think the decade was really filled with that many fun characters. If it was, the 2000-2010 decade must have been much more awesome than I realized for characters.

Yeah. Dante's always remind me of something of a traditional anime style hero.

Before you touch that reboot, at least play DMC3 first. It still holds up and is an awesome game. And it's a prequel to DMC1 anyway, so you'll be playing the very first part of the story.

I always liked the DMC games, but I just can't bring myself to use Dante in MvC and I think it's because of how many moves he has. When I'm playing really aggressively I tend to button mash and with Dante he does moves that I don't necessarily intend him to

When the new DMC was announced, it seemed like it was another kind of reality, and they would be starting over.
But from what I've been reading lately, it seems DMC is part of the current story, but will be set before DMC3, after Dante lost his mother and went rogue.

DMC3 is one of my favorite games, though. It's what got me into the series.

Will do

Is there anywhere to watch those costumes? Sorry if it's already been posted.
