Yes, SSFIV is much better than Third Strike...sorry.

I do!
And yes, Sparta, we do need to play again...and I'm up for either SSFIV or MvC3, as I loves them both.
Also, about spamming projectiles...that is a problem with fighting games in general, not only MvC3. Heck, MvC/SF/MK all of these have their fair share of projectile vomiting.
No its better
I'm on the 360, and I'm pretty sure you're on my friend list.

I like punching people as the Hulk.![]()
There is no greater feeling than beating the point character and assist at the same time with the Hulk's standing fierce punch.
plus, a game where you can pick heroes and villains on your team ... and while the marvel universe all exists on the same plane of existence... the "capcom universe" does not.. hell... it doesn't even exist.... each franchise has it's own universe. So there's truly no logical way a story could work... MVC2 did it best... i assumed Ruby Hart and her crew were some sort of dimension/universal mystical travelers on there boat... picking up heroes from different worlds to battle an evil threat. This game, without Ruby and her gang... seem to just be thrown in for no reason
If you want exploration and **** like that go play Tekken 6.
i kinda agree there. its a little more satisfying taking a chance and walking into an attack with parries and turning it against your opponent then having a guard breaking move than can still avoided. i still freak when i see the Daigo video of Ken Parrying Chun Li's entire Lightning Kick super.Gotta disagree with you there. Parry > Focus Attack
yes x9000Online play is freaking frustating because it feels like the block function never works.
I've had some bad lag input the other night. My player matches record is better than the ranked for sure. Sometimes I wonder if guys are using turbo controllers.
just to let you guys know...any attack in the air (including flight mode) must be blocked high, crouching attacks must be blocked low, some assists must be blocked low, pressing buttons makes you vulnerable to attacks (startup animation)
no problem man. The mixups in this game can be hard to deal with and missing an easy block can get you blown up really fast in this game. So hopefully by letting you know how to block moves, you can prevent missing those easy blockst:
I had talked to a friend of mine today and the subject was sentinel. I was telling him how I didn't really fear Sentinel unless he had level 3 x-factor because he only has these gimmicks: bait you to press buttons on his super armored normals (cr. m, st. m, and S) or he'll try to fly and get you blocking low by mistake (big demoralizing combos follow). But If you know how to properly defend on sentinel, he really isn't hard to beat. Playing defense is soooooooo important. Somethings are really hard to defend when facing sick players, but i find no problem in defending against sentinel
I finally encountered someone who knows how to use She-Hulk. Her combos are actually pretty devastating when they connect (something that I can't do to save my life). I lost pretty badly but wasn't mad since there wasn't any projectile spamming.
