God, what the hell has Capcom done to the controls? I hate how they oversimplifed this game. It feels like those easy modes that they would do for the Wii. That should have been an option for newcomers, not the default

The story mode demo was pretty boring. I appreciate them going for a more cinematic approach but it jumped all over the place, was too easy and didnt really give you much of a chance to get a good feel for the game. I dont feel this was the best way to demo this title. Hopefully the story mode is crafted better

The leaker mentioned there was one Capcom character he wasn't sure of and guessed Frank West. I guess that ended up being Zero instead.

Last time they saved Spider-Man until the Tokyo Game Show. Spidey is historically one of the few American superheroes the Japanese give a crap about.

Spider-Man was one of the latter characters revealed the last time and people were worried he wouldnt be in there bc of Disney/Sony Pictures beef. I cant see him not in this

I already knew the possibility of having any X-men or F4 characters on the initial roster was pretty slim. But that was beyond Capcom's control.

I'm underwhelmed by the severe lack of newcomers. There's less than 10 of them while the rest being characters that were in UMVC3 along with the return of Thanos. The game honestly seems like it's being rushed. Capcom would probably be better off delaying it for it's own good.

I tried the demo last night and it was cool. I didn't know there was an option to remove the auto combo function so I might try it again.

It didn't make me eager to play it again, though. It was just nice, but felt kinda lacking. MvC3 felt frenetic and that's what kept bringing me back. I'm not feeling it with this one, yet.

So I downloaded the demo. What a load of crock! Iron Man wasn't even playable! They had him in the main screen, had him in a cut scene, but nothing.

Oh well, still going to be getting the $200 collector's edition. Want that Iron Man statue.

Honestly if they had just taken mvc3, added more particle effects, more characters, and just slightly tweaked a few things to be more fair (like making a failed tac punishable) I would have been happy. This just feels clunky.

spider man will show up. the X-men are another story. they have been show up in every other game marvel heroes omega which is on console now, they have been there from the start/ inception. And contest of champion's they were there since inception. (even though that one was mobile) they have now shown up in marvel future fight. though people aren't happy with what they have to do to get them with the latter mobile game .

They've made characters console exclusive before, which IMO is worse. Just be glad they arent having Captain Marvel be PS4 exclusive instead

This game looks like the third fighter in a row that they are botching for me. Im considering skipping out on this as I did with SFxTK and SFV.

NRS did the same thing for the first Injustice. Black Adam has a costume that's exclusive for the PS4 versions. And in MK9, all the DLC characters(sans Freddy) have alt costumes that are exclusive to the Vita version. Along with Mileena's MK2 costume.

We’ve seen plenty of potential roster leaks for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite since the game was first announced, but now data miners may have finally outed the definitive list of playable characters.
By diving into the files of the game’s recently released story demo, data miners appear to have discovered a full list of files referring to fighters who’ll eventually appear on the character select screen. An image depicting the file list has made the rounds on Reddit and Twitter, though the original source is unclear at the moment. As such, you may want to take it with a grain of salt.
Here’s the image in question:

And for those of you who don’t feel like piecing that confusing collage together, here’s what the actual roster would appear to be if the findings are genuine (unannounced characters in bold):

Current speculation is that three other characters listed in the files—Dahren Mohran, Death, and Grandmaster—will only appear in the story and will not be playable.
Now, if that list is accurate and indeed derived from the demo files, it points to two very worrying outcomes for fans of the series. The first is that absolutely no representatives from the X-Men will be on the roster, not even Marvel vs. Capcom staples like Magneto or Wolverine.
The second is that DLC characters will apparently already be on the disc when the game ships, at least in some form. Again, assuming this is an actual, data mined list of files, we can already see two characters who are confirmed as downloadable content: Black Panther and Sigma. One of the unannounced fighters, Venom, was previously rumored to arrive as DLC, too. There are also more characters listed here than previous leaks have alluded to, indicating that some or all of the currently unannounced ones will be added to the game after launch.
On-disc DLC has been a point of contention for Capcom fans in the past, since the inclusion of the fighters within the game at launch indicates the publisher is simply holding back content that’s already finished so it can extract more money from players. That may not be entirely fair in this case, given that we know that some, if not all, DLC characters will play a role in the game’s story. Perhaps the files here are necessary to include them in the plot, but work to make them playable and balanced won’t wrap up until the game ships. Either way, though, it’s not a good look.
We’re sure to find out more about the full roster as we approach Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite‘s September 19th launch on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

That list got leaked a few days actually. And now people on other sites are assuming it's on disc DLC. For one thing, there isn't even a disc. The game isn't finished. It's impossible for there to be on disc data found for a game that hasn't even had discs made for it yet. It's probably just story mode assets at the end of the day considering they seem to match up with what we know of it so far.

The backgrounds however, I don't like shiny steel look.
