For me I don't want some half made suit be firdt thing we have in mcu. I like to see a more the look suit. Even if it's say more homey look ala kick ass costume. To we get more sleaker and different material.speaking of material wise for the suit. What do folks want. Do you want it to be more cloth based. Or more rubber/latex/spandex based.

This is rich coming from someone who loved the TASM basketball suit. Makes sense though, I mean the guy can clearly dunk the ball.

Yeah.. no. if there's one I've been consistent with on this forum for the past 10 months, it's hating this suit and that's not gonna change anytime soon

If you take the Raimi suit and tweak the webbing/symbols and the eyes, that's exactly what Webb did for TASM2. instead of sticking to his guns and upgrading/evolving TASM1 into the comic book suit.

But it is also coming from the guy who loved Raimi's take on the costume.. which most would say is even more ironic.

Actually, it might be one of my favorite Spidey suits ever alongside with the original, Reilly suit and black costume

I'd rather take the classic costume for the movies, BUT if the script and directing was top notch, and they just had to do a different costume, I'd gladly take that

the only problem i had with the tasm2 suit was that it needed the actor to wear a face shell, which made spidey's head look a bit big.

the belt was a bit chunky too and the spider on the front was too low but those are more nitpicks than anything.

I actually think a straight interpretation of the Ben Reilly suit would be perfect for this "Marvel Studios" version of Spider-man. It's basically a modernization of Spidey's classic look (just as the TASM suit was), and it would be a good way to set this new version of Spidey apart from the past film versions -- if they stick to their guns and keep it this way.

I'd love to see Spidey wear the costume without the webbing at first. No symbols, no back spider... Just red and blue spandex with white eyes. Then at the end he ads the web patterns and spider symbols. That'd be so sick!

Along these lines, again with no spider symbol.

I'd love that.

Speaking as someone who really enjoyed the cheesy, over-the-top 60's cartoon where the suit only had web pattern in certain places, I'd be fine with it not having webbing pattern at all as long as it's a starter suit.

ASM2 was horrible imo and Marvel aren't going to be using that costume design.

If you take any suit, tweak the webbing/symbols and the eyes, that's exactly another variation of a Spider-Man suit.

If the fans are flip flopping on the costume that is one of the easiest costumes to get right, what chance did the costume designers over at Sony have when the studio execs running the show ouldnt care less.

I hope they do something other than the classic suit. Don't get me wrong I love the classic suit but I would like to see something new as well. The Ben Reilly suit posted above would be awesome to see.
