Ever noticed how during the entirety of TASM2, Peters costume never ripped or took damage at all? Thats something I don't want.

You know, I didn't, but you're right. I mean, maybe it wouldn't get ripped with Electro, but certainly the fight with Green Goblin would do something.

Actually, I hated how in two of the Spider-Man movies, his mask would rip in some unflattering way. It just looks ugly.

Why can't they do just a clean eye rip? Just the eye. It'd look much better.

Actually it did get pretty damaged, just not battle ravaged like SM1/SM3 or ripped straight off. You can see the dirt/scuff/rips when Spidey is wrestling with the Goblin.

Actually I just looked up a video and you're right it did get some battle damage.

Wow. You know, I never expected a Spectacular Spider-Man costume too look good in real life, because of how simple it was. After all, the movie people are always adding more texture and details to make everything look complex.

But that... looks pretty darn good.

It does look pretty nice huh? I wouldn't have expected to like it either. But that suit has grown on me.

Yeah it does. I still have a soft spot for those Amazing Spider-Man 2 eyes, and I actually wouldn't mind a raised spider symbol. But still, the web pattern just works.
I would have expected the webs to be the weakest part of a real-life Spectacular Spider-Man costume, but nevertheless, there it is.

EDIT: What, no armpit webs? :P

I don't mind that costume, but a bit more webbing would be nice. Not sure of the circle on his mask either?

The guy who put the suit together said he would add em later when he figured out what to make the webs from.

The costume is SOOO UGLY and the armpit webs aren't quite in the right position, but whatever material they're using for the armpit webs looks pretty good.

The eye-shape doesn't quite look right with a realistically proportioned head, but that webbing pattern looks nice. bigger/smaller eyes, and a subtle texture to the suit ala Raimis Spider-man and you've got yourself a winner

I'm not too sure about the webs (particularly on the body) but that looks surprisingly good. Goes to show the costume doesn't have to be overly complex or flashy. As long as his spider-powers look believable, I don't think the costume has to look too impressive.

I am not feeling that cosplay photos. Judt some elements don't look right. And like I said before I can't judt see a all flat design on suit. On film suit needs to pop. And thst is why all tv and film suits these days have some sort of textured elements too them.

Something about that mask looks off, and I can't quite put my finger on it.

Either way, too cartoony imo.

It's the eye shape and that odd placement of that circle where mask Web lines go.

Honestly, I hope the suit is just plain fabric of some sort, I never really liked the textures.

I keep bringing this up. if it was just plan flat material it won't pop on screen well and look ie cheap looking. And tv and film suits since mid 2000s all have had some sort of texturing or layering to it. To make it pop a bit. Now personally I would not want the brick thing or hexagon pattern they put on the past suits. But if they just did some raised webbing or raised lens and logos I be happy.
