I 2as just saying there isn't a real need to go completely against the grain with suit material why do you think spideys suits been Lyrca since 2002. It's a good material and again different colors patterns. Details can still make a completely new look.

Yes, because why not try something new? why not further distance themselfs from Raimi and TASM2? Marvel used Under Armor for many of their suits, and Spidey of all characters it would really, really suit.

We are all debating about Lycra and Under Armor when probably they are just using moddified spandex.

Again there is reasons x materials are always used in films and tv for costumes. I was just saying it's very likely Lyrca or Lyrca like material be used again. Then going totally different. But we will just have to see what they went with once we got pics of suit and details on its components.

The TASM1 suit was Lycra with some sort of 3D screen printing.

I couldn't find a specific source, but since people have been able to make ridiculously close replica suits using puff paint on Lycra it seems likely that they used Lycra as a base for the movie suit. At least i'm pretty sure they used Lycra anyway.

So you're assuming that it's made of Lycra because of... Cosplay? Yeah, I don't buy it. Doesn't look anything like cloth.

I hope the new suit uses a different material for change sake.

It's made out of Lycra. I'm pretty certain. Peter states in the movie that it's spandex, while that doesn't necessarily mean the actual suit is... It's Lycra just trust me. I'll be looking for more conformation so stay tuned.

Ya harry all the suits have by Lyrca material it's just the details like logos, weblines, and textured patterns that was different.


Personally I still wouldn't mind Lyrca used again. As like I have stated you have different shade of red and blue, different length and width and ingrained or raised weblines and different logos. Can make it look very different. What I don't want is the brick or hexagon texturing on suit. That is not needed at all. Any texturing should just be raised lenses. Logos and possibly weblines.

This doesn't look anything Lycra;

A thin stretchy fabric sounds a lot like spandex "which is Lycra". This is the best I could find.

Wow, a lot of effort went into making that beautiful suit. And it looked amazing in 3D (pun intended). It's a shame that what we got in ASM2 was an evolution of Raimi's suit as opposed to an evolution of TASM1.

I just don't want to see that stupid brick pattern on the new suit, hopefully they use Under Armor.

It would be great if the first costume wouldn't have any webbing on it at all. Like in Ultimate comics.

It would be silly not to have webs or logos on first suit. We need something thst screams spidey off the bat. More so since we know he been in action for awhile. It would be silly to have an incomplete look.
