I for one loved the first ASM movie. As I've stated before, there was just something aesthetically pleasing about the film. I really liked the coloring/filters they used.

Do I think the film is perfect...far from it but, it was still entertaining to me. The only real gripes I had with the film were...

- The origin story wasn't needed.
- A few changes for the sake of change.
- The Lizard (my favorite villain) totally got a botched treatment. Seriously, if they were going to do this character they should have dedicated the film solely to him/the tragedy Connors faces with the Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde predicament.
- It could have used a little more action between The Lizard and Spider-Man.
- They needed to think of something different for Peter and Gwen's "iconic kiss" moment. I remember them stating in an interview that they were going to top the Raimi kiss and damn...did that fall short. haha

That's kind of all I really have. Webb did the romance/relationship between Peter and Gwen really well. I liked their scenes together.

Man, there's just something sexy about the Raimi suit. ASM 2 improved on it in every way in terms of materials used. But the curves man. Raimi's suit still has those beautiful curves.

I've always found the Raimi suit with the raised silver webbing to be a bit too busy. Of course, the new Holland suit could stand to have darker or thicker webbing so that it doesn't just disappear completely.

I'd like it that they returned to the original Civil War design but flat webbing (not a print, the same rubber material on top of the cloth) and bigger back spider (bigger body, shorter legs). Also the colors could be more vibrant but that's not a must for me

I prefer the Raimi suit to the ASM2 one. I can't really find much flaws in the Raimi one, but I can find a few in the ASM2 one (bulky belt, odd spider placement, clunky web-shooters). Plus it is pretty derivative of the Raimi suit in the first place.

The main reason I prefer the Raimi suit over TASM2 is the funky red color of TASM2's... it almost looks pinkish in some shots.

I dont have any problem with the suit, but I would l have liked to see a version of it where the blue areas were charcoal or black

Maybe, but its not like they could have done any better. They needed practical footwear that could allow for stunts in costume, and wouldn't need to be replaced after every scene.
