I thought a theory was the gun went off and hit the guy, they forgot to add the sound effect

What was this theory then? slipped on a banana peel? :o

*over the top raspy voice that even a popcorn commercial made fun of*

''He must have friends.''

lol

The entire cops v Bane's mercenaries scenes were just awful.

By and large, the action on the Nolan movies work and are great. But I do agree, the hand to hand combat is badly filmed at times and choreographed. I can't watch the Ra's vs Batman on the train fight. It makes me violently ill and I cannot make anything out. There is shaky cam and then there is unwatchable footage. That is very close to unwatchable.

Why the f didn’t they make that guy Lucius? So dumb

Eh, I kinda liked Alfred and Bruce working on all their equipment etc. The real only family member still being mainly a butler thing is just outdated one to me, but I understand most batfans don't feel the same.

Worse than fighting choreography in Nolan films was only use of guns. Everyone suddenly forgets they have firearms. That's why the warehouse battle felt almost ecstatic. Guns were used in much more honest way. And Batman actually had to disable them with his gadgets, which was damn awesome. I hope Reeves pays more attention to that. I want people to try to use guns against Batman and I want him to approach it with his tactics and gadgets, not plot convenience.

It was also the first time we saw the ''bad guys'' pull on his cape. and have it be a weakness just a bit. lol

He actually got shot in the head too, which was a bit holy shh type moment to see. For the first time I saw a Batman capable of taking on everyone in the room be kinda realistic.

Yeah, good stuff.

Perhaps overpowered (I mean, what kind of armor is that that can take a straight shot to the head; what's the point in hiding in shadows when you can just walk into a room packed with armed to the teeth thugs and beat them into the ground) and blunt in approach to handling a situation, plus killing, but a lot of stuff in that scene was just great and needs to be a reference for future Batman films.

Agreed. That fight was phenomenal and everything I wanted from a unleashed batman.

Next thing I want done is a predator type mission with batman.
Him taking out a full room of armed man in the shadows using gadgets

I think Snyder took a lot from the rockstar Batman games in this regard, which was cool to see on screen. I hope Reeves has the elegance of Nolan with a bit of the ruthlessness of Snyder when he has to be.

cmon guys

who could forget iconic lines such as "I like those shoes" and "JAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!!!!!"
Ugh, don't remind me. What a travesty of a film BVS was and afflecks Batman was as well. People complain about the Nolan fights but I honestly always loved them. People call me a Nolan fanboy for it, but I always thought the fight scenes were well done. That sewer fight between bats and bane was breathtaking

I’ve nevee had an issue with them. They aren’t the best, but they get the job done. I’d welcome more intense and exciting choreography, but I don’t think the movies suffer much from what we got.

Truth be told, a lot of the goofs in the Nolan fight scenes were only made apparent when the movies hit home video and we were able to slow frames down and make gifs. Can't recall anything really catching my eye when I saw the films in theaters.

The first time I noticed these wonderful performances was thanks to the Hype. They shall never leave my mind.

The guy behind the lady on the right, he slowly closes his mouth. Always makes me laugh.

Sometimes I feel like Aaron Eckhart confessed to being Batman just so he could get out of that scene.

Nolan movies are great. I also think BvS is phenomenal though so people can go ahead and chirp me for that but its my favourite batman. Keaton would be after then bale. None compare to conroy though from tas or phantasm or arkham series.

Even though I loved batman from bvs.....I am very much looking forward to reeves’ take. I think its going to be my personal favourite live action and possibly beat conroy.

Judging by the shadow, the gun disarmed from the guy Batman has looks like it's intended to hit the goon in the head, cropped just out of frame. Of course, the shadow reveals it didn't really touch him, lol.
