The dark days we will soon become a distant memory.

"And thus, the evil was cleansed, and the sun doth broke through the thunderous sky, and hope was henceforth given to the people once again, for the darkness that besieged the lands was lifted, forever vanquished. " - Nolan 7:08

:hehe:

It's sad.

Nevermind the fact that he responded to a Hollywood Reporter article that flat-out says "Ben Affleck Passes the Torch" in the title, but why would he be excited to see Reeves' take if he was going to be a part of it?
they live in an alternate reality where Affleck is still somehow Batman and where Snyder is a victim. It's sickening.

Aint no point worry about them anymore, it was a bad time being a fan of DC Comics on film. Time to move on.

Given how coveted the role is, I expect we'll get an announcement shortly after the actor formally signs on in order to reduce the chance of a leak. Every trade is going to want to get the scoop on this.

It wasnt all bad from mos to justice league, there was some good in there. The big takeaway is they have the right actors casted but just needed lighter tones.

My revisits:

Batman: Broken City
Batman: Dark Victory
Batman: Ego
Batman: Gothic
Batman: Hush
Batman: The Long Halloween
Batman: Year One

If The Dark Knight is the only movie you think exists in the Bale trilogy then you may have have arguement. BB and Rises are squarely about the man.

Also, you claim to love Affleck's Batman. So you have absolutely no problem with a Batman that is mentally challenged.
I think batman begins is probably the best batman movie out of the trilogy but I still cant get over his voice. Also the action is awful and the suit is way too stiff.

The dark knight rises is probably the best performance by bale but I never thought the batman scenes were awesome. I never have an urge to watch the batman scenes. I would rather watch the 89 batman scenes or affleck’s batman scenes over his any day of the week. To be honest, the suit also sucks in the trilogy.

Affleck’s batman is a broken batman who is just focused on his rage. He is focused squarely on killing superman and not anything else. He is not THE batman in it. Just like how batman wasn’t THE batman is dark knight returns. I think he realizes how broken he is at the end which is why he has that speech.

Im still waiting for THE batman where you walk out of the theatre and say “that was batman and he was sooooo cool” and also had the best scenes that I can rewatch over and over again. I want him to look cool, be badass, be a genius, move in the shadows, be a nightmare to criminals, be a loner, agile, with awesome gadgets and solving crimes.

Yiu could easily read Ego, Gothic and YO all in one sitting. Those are all extremely short.

Can we get Christopher Drake to score this please? Keep Giacchino away from this.

So happy to be back on the hype train for Batman. Even if I was skeptical of Reeves staying on, I'm glad to have been proven wrong. This has the chance to be the best Batman movie if done right and I'm excited to finally see it happen.

It's been a long time.

The moment we get that announcement, it's gonna break the internet. I can't wait!

Drake's probably not gonna work too well for a live-action flick. But yeah, much as I dig about half of Giacchino's work a whole lot, getting a little sick of him lately.

Go weirder with this, Batman doesn't need big brassy Silvestri/Giacchino stuff like the Caps & Star Wars/Jurassic Parks of the world.

I dunno, hell, throw a dump-truck full of money Reznor's way maybe. Find a way to get him all p*ssed-off again, Trent in the right headspace could probably deliver a nice mix of the somber piano melodies and the grimey urban-decay industrial stuff, without going full-on cliche millennial dubstep awfulness like most electronic guys would.

My personal picks for score:

Colin Stetson (Hereditary)
Jonny Greenwood (You Were Never Really Here)
Lustmord (First Reformed)
Mark Korven (The Witch)

What about Benjamin Wallfisch? Comes from under Zimmer's wing, but does strong work without him (It) and contributed to 2049 and Dunkirk. Could keep a similar vibe, but without need of strict monitoring like Junkie XL.

Oh no, not Johnny Greenwood. I'm a Radiohead fan, and I like some of his scores, but he's not fit for a Batman movie.

In the case WB decides to hire an artist to make an original song for Batman (as they seem to have a tendency of doing with their movies recently), what popular artist would you like to see take on Batman?

It's possible he could still play present Batman in other movies. Just not Reeves' cause Reeves is definitely gonna have the younger Batfleck in his feature. It won't be a new canon. That is of course if they don't find a guy who could play it both younger and older.

Isn't it taking place like over a decade before Man of Steel? These movies are now being treated like the Arrowverse and the comics. Wherw every hero occupies their own world in the crossover universe till the big events. A lot of people misunderstand that now as meaning it's not the same universe. That's not the case. Ben may or may not be out but Cavill has been rumored to have renegotiated finaly and we all know about Gadot and Momoa.

If I were a betting man, there will be absolutely no references to the DCEU or a wider DC universe in this movie. I'm expecting the full stand-alone treatment ala Chris Nolan. That doesn't necessarily mean that fans can't treat it as in-continuity with the DCEU in their own head canon, but I doubt it is ever explicitly linked.
