So there was a contest to make a spoof poster for the romantic comedy 'You Kill Me' starring Ben Kingsley and Tea Leoni...
It ended tonight.
I entered a few times. This was my last entry... Kinda going with a serial killer theme here.
My idea of spoofing was to have the poster claim the movie was a romantic comedy, when in actuality its really just a movie about a psycho killer... Not sure how well that comes across, but here it is, regardless:

Thought I'd post it, just for a laugh.

I actually really like this design. I think if you just slapped the credit listing on the bottom, you would have a very sharp poster. It definetly has the potential to be one of those cult posters that becomes popular years after the movie's been on television.
Awesome, reminds me of Bill
great work dude
What's this? You're making posters now? lol, but nice job on it. I didnt even know there was a contest. Good Luck dude.
Here is my entry for the month... My take on Wolverine as a robot.

I was going for a little less literal take, so I hope you guys like it! Let me know what you think.
So...
here's my first progress shot for the robot theme of July...

All I'll say is its the beginnings of a robot... Don't want to give it away too much, since there's a joke element to this.
I love this. I ROFL'D. i love when you do 3dish work. like the Mansion in your X-Men/Juggy pic. =)
Heavens to Betsy. I've always loved that phrase.
Heavens to Betsy...always funny, no matter when/where...great stuff Mattchew, always enjoy your stuff.
Wooot! It looks great!![]()
heh . . . it's a dik, isn't it?
oh I guess it isn't![]()
haha, Great Wolverine!
Nice Wolverine. Reminds me of the mortal kombat car buggies.
In reference to celebrating a 'post-total milestone' or whatever, I point you all to pg 7 ravana's thread.... there's a take on that idea with a bit more gravitas than I've displayed here in my thread... You'll see what I mean.
^^^ Castlevania, an excellent choice! And Monster Squad, a true classic!
Awesome. And Monster Squad was easily one of my childhood faves as well. I use to rip up my shirts just to play "Wolfman" from that flick.
Yeah...I was a dork, lol.
