The Dark Knight Mausoleum/Vault Discussion

let me just make sure this is correct; the first clockwise turn should pass the 0 once or twice?

I hope people are remembering to giggle the handle after they put in their #s...

That taffy thing must mean something. I'm leaning on time over item, since so many times are mentioned.

Really would have been helpful to provide how many numbers are involved... three is the standard for most locks though, right?

Well, both ITEM FOR TAFFY and TIME FOR TAFFY would have the combination:

47 - 39 - 58

Come on WB ninjas

can somebody fill me in on whats going on? ive been at my mom's for the last hour and a half and i just found the safe

gothamcab.com is a new site i found if you guys dont got it yet !!!!

still trying to figure out teh damn combination i want to konw whats inside !:wow: :wow:

are you sure about the opening procedure? theres a wheel and a lever...which one is to be checked first, or does it matter? i guess we won't know till we know, but if you have a hunch on a particular combo you might wanna put it in twice, once turning each handle first. also, i have a feeling one of the numbers will be in the 80s or 90s, like a year, because combi locks don't usually go that high.
first comes the wheel, then we pull with the lever.

Those bloody letters have nothin to do with the combination? :( Damn...

can someone fill me in? just got back from giving my mom her birthday gifts, and i just found the safe

Well, I refuse to believe that it doesn't have something to do with 7:38 AM, there's no way a coincidence like that slips onto this site.

Seconded. Either those numbers are the combination, or that is the time when the safe can be opened, or both. I'm still confused how the safe even works... I understand how to turn the dial, but when to pull the lever and when to turn the wheel/crank is what is throwing me off. Clockwise twice, 7, crank, counterclockwise once, 3, crank, clockwise to 8, lever? Or some other pattern...??

But yeah, there is just NO EFFING WAY 7:38 has nothing to do with it. Anyone who is sitting around trying to put it release dates/badge numbers/numbers derived from text/etc. is a bloody fool.

What was date of the first appearance of batman in Detective comics

if you zoom in on the screen before clicking the safe, and than click on the safe you can see the numbers better...also i think the clock on the wall may have something to do with the direction in which we spin the dial on the lock

Has anyone tried phoning the number at the bottom of this new site? I can't from the UK.... I've emailed them but no reply thus far.

step back , read the note
" You surely know how to put a smile on a guys face ! Now your task is simple.

Your job is to find a way into the evidence vault.

Our fine friends in blue have collected something that surely dosn't belong to them."

Now , does Joker seem like a safe breaker ?

The dial dosn't turn accuratly enough to sufficiently hit exact numbers.
