The Dark Knight Mausoleum/Vault Discussion

Maybe if you re-arrange the letters from the anagram into the correct order - TIME FOR TAFFY - or ITEM FOR TAFFY - then try the numbers in that order. Just an idea.

At the risk of sounding stupid, how can you tell that the combination is not working? I mean, are you sure about the procedure?

The bloodstains on the note cover letters in each sentence. These are the numerical correlations to the letters for each one.

59 - 33 - 41 - 36 - 26

I tried

Johnny - 86
Taffyface - 73
Linata - 57

and got nothing

SHH is barely working for me now. I guess I'm out until later tonight or maybe tomorrow. Hopefully someone will have this figured out by then.

i think one of the numbers will be in the 80s or 90s, like a year, just because combination locks normally don't go up that high. or do they on safes...?

The TDK games aren't fun anymore. Now they just make me feel stupid for not being able to work them out. :(

Still, it IS the best viral marketing I have evr seen.

This is how sad I am. I am sitting here, with earphones plugged into my laptop, listening for a click, as if I was cracking a real safe....

Well, I refuse to believe that it doesn't have something to do with 7:38 AM, there's no way a coincidence like that slips onto this site.

Makes sense.

Taffy = Welshman = Christian Bale. Hmm, maybe not.

lets not forget this clue:

If you've finished my quiz, then it's time for the next step in the interview process, something to test your aptitude. Spaces count:

* Eighth * Sixth * Eighth* Ninth* Ninth* Second* Fourth* Second* Third

whatever it means....

That taffy thing must mean something. I'm leaning on time over item, since so many times are mentioned.

Really would have been helpful to provide how many numbers are involved... three is the standard for most locks though, right?

are you sure about the opening procedure? theres a wheel and a lever...which one is to be checked first, or does it matter? i guess we won't know till we know, but if you have a hunch on a particular combo you might wanna put it in twice, once turning each handle first. also, i have a feeling one of the numbers will be in the 80s or 90s, like a year, because combi locks don't usually go that high.

Damn it. Now I'm off to class and SHH is really DYING lol

I'll see you cool cats when we got this thing figured out.

That was the code to unlock the link to that site

Taffy could be "Welsh", "Welshman", "Wales"...

Well both ITEM FOR TAFFY and TIME FOR TAFFY would have the combination

47 - 39 - 58

it has something to do with "time for taffy" taffy died at 7:38 am. there has to be some kind of 3 number combination using that
