Oh, I didn't realize you were the one who asked the question too. It sounds like you know everything there is to know, without knowing Vin personally. I'm suspect Vin has actually talked to someone about something, but a guy changing his profile picture isn't much of a leak.

Still it wouldn't bother me. He has a great voice and a robot fits very comfortably in his relatively small range of emotions.

I'd be down with Vin D as Vision. I'd want to do some fancy electronic crap to alter his voice somewhat but it isn't like 'emotionless superpowered android' is beyond his range.

I just came across this image, and I must say I like the idea of Vin as Vision... Especially after I watched Vin's short-film Muti-Facial... You can check it out on YouTube, definitely think Vin can make an interesting Vision as well as prove his much more then Riddick or Dom

So what kinds of cameos do you think we'll see in Phase II? It seemed like almost every phase 1 movie had some sort of surprising character present.

IM3 - Ms. Marvel or Kree type hero
Thor 2 - Dr. Strange
CAP 2 - Black Panther
GOTG - Adam Warlock
Ant-Man - Wasp

All of them I think it would end up in the Avengers 2 with Dr. Strange maybe getting a movie pre-Avengers 2.

It dont have to be a new character in each movie.. Fury was the surprise in IM1, Cap and Thor. Stark in The Hulk.. Thors hammer and Caps shield in IM2.. It just has to be a little scene or peek at something leading up to something bigger...

IM3 - Probably Fury and the Widow will be in it somehow, Maybe Hawkeye.. As of new characters, not really sure..

Thor2 - Really don't know..

Cap2 - Fury and Widow for sure. I think SHIELD is going to involved big time in this movie. Maybe peeks or hints about Quasar.. Possibly Black Panther

GOTG - Probably Warlock, Probably a lot of back story on Thanos.. I think this movie is where you're going to get to see the Kree and other races.. Maybe Nova(hopefully)

Ant-Man - First off I'll say that I absolutly hate the idea of the whole Pym in the 60's and Lang in the present. Pym has been a big part of the Marvel universe and having him being an old man is stupid.. But you could see appearances from the Wasp.. Hints of Ultron, which could lead to the Vision..

I don't see Dr.Strange Showing up anywhere in Phase2..

Alan Tudyk. He happens to be a Joss Whedon collaborator, so I'm sure Joss would be glad to have him back in the fold. He works well for VISION on a few levels, I think. Having Tudyk in a checkerboard suit on set, and then replacing him with a full CGI form and such later. Could be fun.

Hmmm...

IM3 - Maybe Hawkeye, probably not Fury this time. Not much room for other heroes here.
Cap2 - Falcon clearly, probably Widow, probably Fury.
Thor2 - Dr. Strange seems a good fit, since they already teased his items in Thor1.
GOTG - Carol Danvers perhaps, or Abigail Brand as a contact for Star Lord. Obviously
Ant-Man - Ultron and Wasp, I would hope. Scott Lang almost assuredly. A Nick Fury appearance here, establishing it to be in the MCU would be most valuable here.

no he didn't do abe's voice, at least not in 1 (that was "niles" from Fraiser) he did however do the surfers voice.

i seriously do not forsee Dr. Strange appearing in thor 2

1) he'd probably no longer be a surgeon if he's Jane's friend
2) he does not have a film in phase II as of yet, so there's really no need to introduce him next year..... so soon before his solo film
3) if his origin, or powers are in Thor II it severely limits his solo film, in which the origin and power should truly take place. It's a decent story to carry a movie..
4) adding Dr. Strange to Thor not only limit's his movie, but totally takes away focus from all other Thor characters..

so right now.. take it with a tiny tiny tiny grain of salt, the only logical connection between thor and strange... is that Odin's vault does have the Orb of Agomotto

He also did abes voice in hellboy 2. Hoping that jones plays judge death in a dredd sequel personally.

1) Jane was dating a medical doctor, there's no reason for her not to know any more
2/3/4) Not necessarily, if he has a cameo the size of Fury in IM1 or Hawkeye in Thor1, it wouldn't take away from anything.

It's a viable option, whether they choose to do it or not.

Doug did the Surfers motion capture and lines, which were then dubbed by Fishburne. Doug also played Abe Sapiens and was dubbed by David Hyde Pierce but in the 2nd movie [and the cartoons] did the voice himself and it wasnt too far from Pierce's. Jones is great at physical performance and [it seems] aint too shabby with his voice either.
