Psyched for the Young Avengers. This is going to be their second attempt at having an Avengers level crossover on a streaming service after the Defenders kind of flopped, and I'm very optimistic about it this time around. Looks like Kate Bishop, Ms. Marvel and America Chavez will be the leading Young Avengers as they're getting their own shows. I'd also expect to see Cassie Lang take up the stature mantle in Ant-Man 3 before appearing on the show, Hulkling could easily appear in Ms. Marvel and Speed, Wiccan and Viv could make their debut in Wandavision and/or Doctor Strange 2.

The Disney+ show order was shown at D23. This person from list your referring to was notified of this earlier but for the 5th time since D23 here's this same list again with the last 2 as if set in stone (main difference being minor edit=new post even if short amount of time has passed) ignoring any actual corrections that need to be made of course.

Yeah it's too soon for those two to be joining the Avengers. There's no room for them. We already have all the current MCU heroes and we know which new franchise leads are coming in Phase 4. They're not going to shoehorn Wolverine in before he's ready and as for Deadpool I think his crossovers with the rest of the MCU will be purely comedic, fourth-wall-breaking cameos.

I really don't expect to see any major mutant/X-men presence before phase six. Fiege isn't upheaving his short-term plans for the mutants. He's got them back now and he can take his time using them. The MCU is going to play out pretty much as it would have without the Fox merger for the next five years.

I agree. Definitely think Storm is a possibility in Black Panther 2 and maybe they'll seed mutants a little bit in Eternals or Captain Marvel 2. But no X-men films and no Wolverine before 2025 imo.

Fiege isn't changing his short term plan to shoe-horn the X-men in. A third Ant-Man film in say 2023 won't clash with an X-men film in 2025.

I'm not necessarily against it - the characters on streaming shows will get more development and screen time - I just don't think a change as big as that will come about because Fiege wants to fast track mutants.

I know the Ant-Man films haven't been the MCU's biggest performers, but they're still profitable films and Ant-Man has only grown more popular over the years. He had a surprisingly big role in Endgame. I don't know why people act like his franchise has flopped.

I just think Disney+ has/will change the game for MCU. And Feige clearly knows it by now. So anything is possible at this point.

Or, alternatively, the Ant-Man franchise has underperformed twice now at the box office and they need room in the schedule for the already planned sequels and new franchises like Eternals, Shang-Chi and Blade. Moving Scott and Hope to Disney+ lets them continue their story without a full blockbuster slot spent on a franchise that has seen disappointing returns.

Shang Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings is set before Endgame but after Infinity War. Little to no connection to the MCU besides the Ten Rings. Steven Yuen, Kelly Marie Tran, BD Wong, Jamie Chung, and Donnie Yen are being offered roles.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse features the return of The Ancient One and Quicksilver. David Tennant is the studio’s number one choice for Nightmare.

Spider Man 3 was planned to come out in July 2021 before the Sony/Marvel deal fell apart

Thor: Love And Thunder takes place 95% in space. Peter Dinklage returns as Eitri. Chris Pratt has a small appearance as Quill. Taika Waititi wants Ryan Gosling and Finn Wolfhard for roles in the film.

Fantastic Four is the February 2022 film.

Black Panther 2 is about Namor taking over Wakanda. Micheal B Jordan has a minor role as Kilmonger.

Guardians of The Galaxy Vol.3 is set to be released in July 2022. Lucas Till, Dacre Montgomery, and Zac Efron all met with James Gunn about playing Adam Warlock Mark Hamill is in the film as The High Evolutionary.

Blade and Captain Marvel 2 are set for 2023.

The X-Men reboot is a high priority for Disney, with them wanting it to be released no later than 2023.

Feige has met with Ewan McGregor, Millie Bobby Brown, Keanu Reeves, Himesh Patel, Collin Farrell, Jessica Chastain, and Henry Cavill for future MCU roles.

There would be an extremely small group of people at Marvel/Disney who would know all of these kind of details.

Im not saying I believe all that, but... all the people working on the movie industry or in a big studio have families, children, brothers, friends.... so actually its not that hard for some info to leak.

hell, I got details at different points of a year from someone that was working on a cbm, and it was a friend of mine who showed me the private talks with that source, not me myself lol.
So again... its pretty easy to spread the word between some people and friends. All it takes is one person to drop some inside word.
