I've read some that suggest he'll have been a creation of the High Evolutionary in GOTG3. There was another interesting one that mentioned the mold Eitri used for Stormbreaker actually belonged or was promised to BRB, which will incite the initial conflict between he and Thor.

I think Spidey will end up being the 4th 2021 film with Blade, Captain Marvel and Black Panther 2 being the 2022 films. Maybe Guardians 3 instead of Blade or Captain Marvel

While I think four films per year would work out for Marvel financially, I think its a solid recipe for fatigue.

You know I’m curious to see that tell-all book that Feige might write one day that reveals how exactly he got the rights back. How did it exactly happen? Did Iger phone him up and say, “Kevin, they’re yours. Go nuts.” Was the moment the deal closed did the rights revert immediately?

Maybe Iger came to Feige and had him watch as he shredded Fox’s FF and X-Men movie contracts to pieces and burned the ripped pieces to ash as a form of symbolism that their rights to that franchise literally died right then and there, and no longer exists!

Only way I would read a book from him is if he's brutally honest and talks about the behind the scenes bull **** with Perlmutter and the crap he caused with IM2 and Thor: The Dark World. I wouldn't want to read a book that is watered down.

Yeah, I bet he will be around for at least 3 films as well, even if its in other movies (another Guardians for example).

I could see him being the "Cosmic" Thor exploring the Universe "finding himself" and having adventures in that way and guest spotting in other cosmic titles, and Jane "Mighty Thor" Foster will be the Earth-focused Thor who will be also be on the Avengers.

If/when Jane and Sam make out like in the comics, the meltdowns will be glorious.

Feige does, but a guy who just won 2 Oscars called him up and pitched it, and Kevin’s smart enough to not reject a smart idea when it’s staring at him.

It’s like if Leo DiCaprio or Daniel Day Lewis called Feige wanting to play Wolverine or Magneto. Of course he can say no, but why should he just because it wasn’t his original idea?

What's confusing? The interests of this multiple award winning currently in demand respected actor coincided with the interests of this top Hollywood exec. It's not like Feige literally had to agree to make a new Blade movie. If he didn't think it would be successful it wouldn't be happening.

I think more than anything Love and Thunder is an apology letter from Marvel to Portman after the drama that went on behind the scenes with Thor 2. I could be wrong. But I don't think they want another Edward Norton situation. And the actor not wanting to ever return to the franchise.

He doesn't like to see himself on screen and this just would go completely against the ingrained PR approach he so carefully orchestrates at all times whether it be when to reveal tidbits of info., how to reveal, what not to reveal and so forth.

What's not used in films is thrown into the fire (think Odin's original death scene or any number of unused deleted scenes or material providing backstory to films like Endgame). It follows this line of reason that non-fictionalized interpersonal shenanigans would NEVER popup as a center of focus on anything officially put out.
