Marvel Films MCU Phase IV!

Ant Man is popular with the younger audience, I reckon it'll get the July slot

With that in mind...

May 2020 - Black Widow
Jul 2020 - Shang Chi
Nov 2020 - Eternals

Feb 2021 - ???
May 2021 - Black Panther 2
Nov 2021 - Doctor Strange 2

Feb 2022 - ???
May 2022 - Captain Marvel 2
Jul 2022 - Ant-Man 3

Feb 2023 - ???
May 2023 - Guardians Of The Galaxy 3
Nov 2023 - ???

Feb 2024 - ???
May 2024 - Avengers 5
Jul 2024 - ???

I dont think guardians 3 will be that late theres no way. THR is saying they expect it now to film in 2020. Possibly for summer 2021. Could be a number of factors in play that have caused filming to move up.

I know Paul Rudd looks young but he is 50. I hope they film another Ant-man soon before his age catches up to him.

The next Deadpool films are going to be produced by Marvel Studios as well and we can expect one in the next three years. Although, I hear it's going to be released by Fox.

I think we should expect Marvel Studios to be releasing up to four films a year or at least producing for other Studios.

What do you think? Will they Keep Cap, Ironman etc. in the intro for the Marvel logo or will they cut them out?
I was wondering if we'd get a new one with Spider-Man in July

I think there is going to be a huge shift to a new cast and only solo movie characters will be in team movies from now on.

I think Stan, Olsen, Hiddleston, and definitely Bettany won't be in anymore movies other than brief cameos now that they are demoted to TV.

Hiddlestone will do fun little cameos here and there, but he is pretty much done.

Likewise I don't think we will see Scarlet Witch in any more movies other than Doctor Strange cameos, as the only character she is tied to is Clint, and this was likely his last movie, barring the rumoured Disney Plus series.

Her awesome fight with Thanos (the Russos finally portrayed her magic as magic instead of the bland pew pew lasers), it was a scene striking in being superior to any of the boring crap she has been given in the comics she barely appears in these days.

The only thing that could top that is her fighting her arch nemesis Chthon, and we won't ever see that in the movie's. I fear the Disney Plus series is going to be a train wreck as reaction to it has been very negative. Her powers are too expensive for the small budget the series will likely have and I have zero confidence in the inexperienced showrunner Jac Schaeffer, given her mediocre writing on Captain Marvel.

Marvel cosmic and it's characters and antagonists have nothing to do with Wanda, and Doctor Strange is the only franchise worthy of her power level and with compelling adversaries. Like many peole I was baffled there was no interaction between her and Strange, given the huge fan demand for them to team-up or at least interact briefly. Why the f*** did she have to team up with women she has nothing in common with and not Strange, whom she is has a ton of history with in the comics?

I'd rather see a Scarlet Witch movie with Elizabeth Olsen than a Captain Marvel movie at this point. I don't find the movie version of Carol interesting.

LOL...had someone try to "argue" with me on facebook that this fan made phase 4 slate is real. I'm like dude you're on a phone or computer, google is readily available. Willful ignorance to the extreme :hehe:

Looks like we're getting a big screen version of Scott Buck's Inhumans!

A title like “Young Avengers” has Disney + written all over it, so I wouldn’t be surprised if we hear something on this in the next 3 years.

I doubt Ant-Man 3 will happen

Why? The Ant-Man films are the cheapest movies they have made, and A&W did very fine business based on its budget. Heck, it outgrossed most of the phase 1 movies, and Ant-Man was just prominently featured in what may become the highest grossing movie ever. Ant-Man's BO should get an Endgame bump. Plus, Paul Rudd has another movie on his deal.

Ant-Man 3 is happening. Ant-Man 3 also can be used to make Cassie a full fledged hero, joining other likely Young Avengers.

Here are my predictions for the next 4 years

First off I don’t think well see any Avengers movies for a while. I think the Big Team up that well see instead is a Cosmic Team. After all Kevin Feige said MCU is going Cosmic.

The Team will be Infinity Watch

The Lineup would be Dr Strange, Captain Marvel, Adam Warlock, Ikaris, Sersi , Valkyrie

I also think we will also see a Earthbound Crossover movie one that has Black Panther going up against Namor and Doom. Namor becomes an Ally but Doom remains a threat for future movies.

So my predicted Lineup goes like this

May 2020 - Black Widow
Nov 2020 - Eternals

Feb 2021 - Shang Chi (Hints at Namor )
May 2021 - Black Panther 2
Nov 2021 - Doctor Strange 2

Feb 2022 - Captain Marvel 2
May 2022 - Guardians of The Galaxy 3 (Featuring Thor and introduces Adam Warlock)
Nov 2022 – Antman 3

Feb 2023 – Thor 4 (Final send-off for Thor.)
May 2023 – Infinity Watch (Lineup: Dr Strange, Captain Marvel, Adam Warlock, Ikaris, Sersi, Valkyrie )

Nov 2023 – DoomWar ( Clash between Black Panther and the newly introduced Dr Doom and Namor. ShangChi will also play a big role in this.Obviously sets up F4)

Feb 2024 – Shang Chi 2
May 2024 – Fantastic Four (Black Panther, Namor, Hulk appear in movie, but Super Skrull is the Main Villain. Setsup Secret Invasion)

Nov 2024 – Dr Strange3

If I were Elizabeth Olsen, I'd be kind of pissed the way this all played out:

Marvel: Hmmm, we could really use a female character...

Elizabeth Olsen: *Waving hand*

Marvel: Like a strong female character...

Elizabeth Olsen: *Waving hand and jumping up and down*

Marvel: With an interesting story and powers that can kick ass...

Elizabeth Olsen: *Waving hand and jumping up and down and making grunting sounds*

Marvel: I know! Let's do a Carol Danvers, Captain Marvel film... Oh, Elizabeth, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be having a dull, uninteresting romance with Vision and generally not using your powers?

Yeah, they're going to make an Inhumans movie, and use the exact same logo as the TV show. And Doctor Strange 2 is going with Baron Mordo as subtitle.

I've heard rumours that there's not the best of feelings between Olsen and Larson, partly for the reasons you've stated above.

But then there also seems to be a bit of bad blood between Hemsworth, Cheadle and Renner with Larson as well. Of course there's the infamous interview featuring Hemworth, Cheadle and Larson where Hemsworth mentions how she's stolen the torch and where she announces it's a fact that she is the most powerful.

Now are they just ribbing each other? Well, their body language and micro expressions are different to when the others tease each other. So there seems to be something there quite possibly.

I like that sound of a lot of this! Throw some Silver Sufer in that Infinity Watch and I'm sold.

This all sounds great. The only thing I would change is no end for Thor. :cwink: Have him join the epic Infinity Watch team instead.

Larson has a different sense of humor than others they've interacted with in past interviews. People really make too much out of interviews with Larson because it seems they want to play up all the rumored problems when there have actually been none on set. Cheadle went out of his way to defend Larson on Twitter when someone tweeted at him the body language "expert" video. Really wish people would just move on from all the anti-Larson stuff as it's gotten really old.

Makes as much sense as announcing the title of another Spider-Man movie before the Homecoming sequel is even out. Or the title of another Avengers movie already, right in the midst of the Endgame hype. :hehe:

This sounds so good - please let Kevin Feige recruit you as advisor
I know nothing about Shan Chi - does he have a connection to Namor?
I hope Doomswar only sets up Doom - this villain needs to be around for many years like Loki did.
