Marvel Films MCU Phase IV!

Do people really need to have watched the MCU shows for May and Bennett to appear in Shang-Chi? No. Could one of them be Shang-Chi's SHIELD handler in Hong Kong? Yes.

And for the record, Asian and Hispanic women are almost always hit with, "can't act." It's something which is pretty much a stereotype at this point.

It's funny where the modern un-self aware fanboy and fangirl's mind goes to when people say stuff against TV shows and movies they like.

Let me be clear... Ming Na is a fine performer. Her and Gregg are wonderful actors... And they are on a show that is junk TV, surrounded by mediocre to sub par performers throughout the cast. And that most especially includes Chloe Bennet, a sub par performer if I ever saw one, but she's nubile and they put her in tight clothes so many of ya'll give her a pass. That's the reason.

And whatever else you think you are implying at the end there... My father was born in Puerto Rico, named Miguel Angel Velez. His grandfather emigrated from the Philippines. His family got tagged with "Los Chinitos" by the locals because of the Asiatic look many had. My mother was born on Roosevelt Island, maiden name Juliet Lozano, of mixed Puerto Rican, Peruvian and Mexican heritage.

So... Whatever the **** you are implying by bringing up race is so over your skis it's not even funny. How about this as a possibility... Chloe Bennet is just a ****ty actress on a ****ty show and this is something that even people with Hispanic and Asian blood running in their veins can see a mile off and that more than anything is probably why she's not appearing in the MCU films any time soon.

Next time you want to imply something, just don't. Period.

Yeah, I didn’t even know that show was still on the air. 95% of the audience seeing the Marvel movies, don’t watch the shows.
Yeah so I doubt the Disney + shows would last long with a "film budget". Unless the shows perform like Game of Thrones and Stranger Things and public interest is so high, okay. But Disney + shows are gonna be like what 10th, 11th, 12th show under the Mcu?
Thor is the most likely to get a 4th movie I think we can all agree on that.
Nope. If you read the recent posts regarding Thor 4, not everyone thinks there will be a Thor 4 unless you skipped reading those posts.

"Most likely" doesnt mean it will happen, just it is more likely then Iron Man 4 or Cap 4

I wonder what color would they use for the Avengers 5's logo.

1- Blue
2- Red
3- Yellow Orange
4- Violet

Green? Black or White?

And can I just say that I liked the Avengers' uniform is white. Someone from shh's comment said this: X-Men is black, F4 is blue and the Avengers wear white. While gotg is red. I wonder if the Eternals would have matching costumes, I don't think they will but if they do, maybe silver? I woukd have picked gold but that would be similar to the gold aliens in gotg2.

If any of the AoS cast ever makes it to a film it won't be as anything essential to a film's story. It will be a blink and you'll miss it type thing.

!ENDGAME SPOILERS!
I mean it, only click if you've seen Endgame
So like Jarvis from Agent Carter in Endgame you mean?

Agent Carter is the only show Feige has produced up until this point so it made sense.

SpiderMan 3 with Tom holland is not happening. The current MCU - Sony deal has expired with SM FFH.

Sony seems to be heading in a different direction.

So unless they make a new deal (which doesnt seem to be in the plans) DONT expect a new Holland SpiderMan movie.

The only movies that we "know" are coming are

1. Black Widow -probably a prequel- (2020).
2. The Eternals (2020).
3. Shang-Chi (2020).
4. Doctor Strange 2 (2021) this date has a chance of being swapped with one of the 2020 movies.
5. Black Panther 2 (2021).
6. Captain Marvel 2 (2021).
7. Guardians of the Galaxy 3 (2022).
8. eventually Avengers 5 in 2023 or 2024 maybe even in 2025.
9. eventually a Namor movie or he could even be featured in one of the movies above.
10. Deadpool 3 is possible but will be probably be somewhat removed/deattached from the rest of the films.

No word on AntMan 3 . No word on any other movies. The Spidey deal has expired with little hope of renewal.

X-Men & FF4 wont come until AFTER 2023 as Feige had already mapped out the future of the MCU up until 2023-2024 before the Dinsey-Fox deal. Its possible to see some X-Men in very small roles or cameos in the above films.

Shang-Chi isn't coming in 2020

Shang-Chi isn't coming in 2020

It could be swapped with Doctor Strange 2. DS2 is in development for years.
It can easily make the date. And Shang-Chi make the 2021 date.

I would bet my money on the first 4 in my list to appear before any other.

The problem there is which is going to get the May slot in 2021 between Black Panther and Captain Marvel?

I think it's more likely one of them will be May 2022 and GOTG 3 will be May 2023

Marvel will be releasing 3 movies per year.
Why do you see a problem ? How ?

They can release a total of 9 movies in 2020, 21 and 22.

The number of movies per year is not the problem.
We all know the May slot is pride of place on the schedule, and certain characters are going to get those May slots in the next few years.

May 2020 - Black Widow
Nov 2020 - Eternals

Feb 2021 - Shang Chi
May 2021 - Black Panther 2
Nov 2021 - Doctor Strange 2

Feb 2022 -
May 2022 - Captain Marvel 2
Nov 2022 -

May 2023 - Guardians Of The Galaxy 3

May 2024 - Avengers 5

Actually, I can see this happen: only 2 movies in 2020
Endgame was so big, that the MCU needs a little break with no big threats like Thanos
Also we‘re probably getting WandaVision (early 2020), the Falcon & Wintersoldier (perhaps mid 2020) and the Loki series (perhaps late 2020) all in the same year. Those will be big projects like previous MCU single movies
I can see the MCU being focused on the tv-series next year and the smaller Black Widdow movie as well the epic beginning of the Eternals

This is not different from my guess.
I would say that GotG 3 can easily come in 2022. Especially the 3rd spot of 2022.

As for Doctor Strange 2 i dont think we ll have to wait till 2021.
Im pretty sure its coming way before CM2 and BP2.
Its been in development for quite some time. They can make a 2020 release EASILY.

What do you mean we won't have to wait til 2021? It's all but confirmed we're getting two films in 2020 and neither will be Doctor Strange

Im saying DS2 has been in pre production for years.
If they wanted they could easily have it for a 2020 release.

Since nothing is known about what happens in 2020 id say its quite likely they have DS2 in 2020.

The logic here is why not have 3 movies in 2020 instead of 2, And if they do go for 3 movies DS2 is the most likely candidate as its the one that can easily be complete in time.

We ll know after SM FFH.

You do realize that doent mean anything right ?

Dates can get added or modified. Like it has been the case in the past.

Feige said they will probably stick with 3 movies per year and could even have 4 movies in a year.

The 2 movies for 2020 isnt set in stone. We will know after SM FFH.

And IF they decide to have 3 movies DS2 is the most reasonable option.

true but we got almost May and Black Widow & and Eternals will begin shooting in the next couple months if we get a third Movie in 2020 Marvel Studios need to reveal it at least at SDCC in July and to begin production late November or something like that

I don't understand why [ENDGAME Spoilers]

Black Widow is getting a movie. They're going to confuse a LOT of people regardless of if it's a prequel. I honestly don't have any interest in a Black Widow prequel at this point in time when this is literally the worst time to do it considering Natasha is dead. This movie should have come out 6 years ago. Why is this being made?

I really hope that third movie is Doctor Strange 2. Don't make us wait till 2021.

i say we get Black Panther 2 which introduces Narmor , than Doctor Strang 2 and GOTG Vol 3 in 2020

May 2024 - Avengers 5

To round out the 2022 slot I would go with Ant Man 3 in the Feb 2022 slot and in the Nov 2022 slot I would go with Fantastic Four

They can fit another film in June/July 2020. It could be Shang Chi. They wouldn't need much cgi production for that film.
