I reckon it might be comic related though. If it was their whole phase 4 stuff they might want to keep that for d23 so the boss doesn’t get pissed. Maybe just like, one small announcement

I'm only really eXpecting the 2020 movies plus Shang Chi. As I want them to hold their own phase 4 announcement event similar to phase 3 and I want it to be more grand, like a grander stage, live stream, and all the fancy graphics/video presentation.

Hemsworth’s contract has ended. I doubt that he wants to play Thor again.
Feige has been consistent with the 3 solos and out, I suspect he’ll stick to that.

Hemsworth has pretty explicitly stated he'll keep playing Thor if given the opportunity. I highly doubt they set up him joining the Guardians only to have him disappear forever.

I really want a Taika movie in the style o Rägnarok in Phase 4. I don‘t care if it’s Thor 4 or a Valkyrie movie.

Honestly, I don’t know why anybody would want a Thor 4. It has always been the lesser franchise to Iron Man and Captain American.
It’s time to focus on new heroes, not the same old played out heroes.

Honestly I also don’t see why some don’t see why some want a Thor 4. It’s disturbing that some people don’t see the way that I see. Or don’t see. Or unsee. See.

Thor storyline is over, it’s time to move on with other heroes. Keeping the same characters makes a franchise stale, as we have seen with the X-Men franchise. With the X-Men there was nothing new, just the same old main characters for 19 years. Kevin Feige is not going to let this happen with the MCU, he is keeping everything fresh by getting rid of the old and bringing in the new.

Reports indicate Hems signed on for 2 more Marvel films, so Thor at least will appear in 2 more films.

I still don’t think Feige will make a Thor 4, he’ll be part of GOTG 3 and Avengers 5. Thor is not a very interesting character, Loki stoled the show in all 3 movies.

Loki did not steal the show in Ragnarok, which is when Thor suddenly got more popular.

Thor just got a massive character revamp only a couple of years ago. If Ragnarok had continued in the vein of Thors 1 and 2 then I'd agree that Thor's character had been played out. But we're really just starting to see the potential Thor has to offer.

Actually Thor was more interesting in 1 and 2.
The Ragnarok version was a clown and not in a good way.
The Endgame’s Thor was absolutely terrible.

I don't agree that Thor was better in 1 and 2, but I do agree that Infinity War Thor was the best Thor. It found a middle ground between the outright comedy of Ragnarok and the overly stoic Thor from Thor 1 to Age of Ultron. Endgame Thor would have been a perfect deconstruction of the character if they'd made fewer fat jokes. I like the idea that initially fat Thor is seen as a joke, but as you peel away the layers you see that actually he's a truly depressed and broken man. But the jokes just kept coming, from Thor's friends no-less who should have been supporting him.

February 18th (Fantastic Four)
May 6th (Captain Marvel 2)
July 29th (Spider-Man 3)

Ant-Man 3 is also probably slated for phase 4. Like if we are not gonna get Avengers 5, 3 years after the last one, they aren't gonna sit out Ant-Man and Wasp because where else would they appear? Also Hank, Janet and Cassie.

You also forgot Eternals which already started hiring actors and crew.

How can they do that when they are also producing TV shows and limits the solo films into a trilogy?

I don't think they'll go past 2022 with the slate reveal. Which means they probably wont reveal what Avengers 5 is until next year which is most likely in 2023.I also think Phase 4 will be a shorter phase much like Phase 2 probably only lasting a few years. Compared to Phase 3 lasting 4 years. They will probably split the next phase into 2 segments as well. Cosmic and Earth based arcs.

I believe they only will show footage for BW and announce tha cast for Eternals and Shang Chi.
The reveal of BP2, DS2 GotG3 will be on D23 in August
