Marvel Films MCU Phase IV!

Unless the Feb 2022 movie is an add-on to Phase 4 I expect Ms Marvel, Moon Knight and She-Hulk will be confirmed to be part of Phase 5 when the rest of the 2022-2023 movies are eventually announced.

...and if Moon Knight precedes Black Panther 2 I'd expect a reference to the nation of Wakanda I'm there somewhere.

So now there will be 4 MCU films in 2021? But only 2 in 2020? They should move something forward.

Guardians 3 was supposed to be in May 2020 but then the James Gunn stuff happened. There's nothing they can move forward at this point. Falcon and Winter Soldier is the third MCU property for next year even though its a Disney+ series.

How far is Eternals along? They could move it to late summer of next year. And couldn't they move up Shang Chi to November?

There's no way they're going to rush a movie to 2020. It's clear that the intent was always to have the 3rd Spidey film on this date, they just didn't announce it with the rest because they hadn't renewed the contract. Otherwise they wouldn't already have a date to announce.

We are only getting 2 films n ext year, but I hope they don't get fatigue by releasing 4 films in 2021. Thats a lot for 1 studio.

If they make Thor Love and Thunder for 2021, they can then send it back in time for a Nov 2020 release.

Movies need to be released when they are ready rather than there being gaps at the box office. I'd rather wait for a good movie than be inundated with dross because they had less time to create a good movie.

NOVA Is Reportedly Set To Make His Long Overdue Marvel Cinematic Universe Debut In Phase 5

No shock there really. Blade, Nova, and the FF I think are locks for new franchises in phase 5

I hope they keep it at 3 after 2021. Can they really release 20 films from 2021 to 2025? I wouldn't complain if they can accomplish that especially we aren't getting Marvel movies from foX anymore. But I don't know what it would do to their quality control and they are also making content for Disney+. They could eXhaust themselves.

Avengers 5 Will Reportedly Release In 2023 And Be Smaller In Scale

Avengers 5 team will be Sam Wilson's Captain America, Captain Marvel, Jane Foster's Thor, Scarlet Witch, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man., and Shang-Chi.

Honestly, at this point I think the mods should probably ban We Got This Covered from being cited as a source. They’re one of the least reliable scoop sites on the net, right with Cosmic Book News.

Instead of of a ban, maybe they could change their name to "We Got This Wrong"?

I'd rather infractions and bannings be handed out to Hypesters who consistently post links to low credibility media outfits. :o

For real though... Fanboys and Fangirls, we really should BY NOW realize that many individuals and entities that choose to focus on our shared entertainment passions are both piss poor journalists as well as having often no real enthusiasm for our various beloved franchises and genres. Those types are in fact hustlers and WE the fans are their hustle.

By continually falling for click bait titles with articles attached that are either 99.9% uninformed speculation based on maybe something officially released (When it's not based off of what fans say in forums...) or being time wasters with nothing new in terms of information of any substance, the fan community takes part in not only helping the spreas of bad information in general but also adding unecessary rancor and division to conversations in places like the Hype by injecting false information or narratives into the community and lets be honest we have enough legitimate division and rancor as it is. Why add anymore based on bad sourcing, speculation sold as fact and just plain old lies put out by people that only care about ad revinue for themselves or their employers?

We cannot control what some so called media operation decides to put out but we can certainly be a lot smarter and wise in terms of our reaction to what is put out and show better judgement. If for our own personal reps if nothing else, no? If a poster continually links back to poorly sourced, thought out or just plain made up ****, that since we can look at later to see what turned out true and what was false we can make a judgement on, one shouldn't be surprised that poster will not be garnering more respect with those consistent action. In fact, it will result in the opposite.

Sucking every dime out of me they can.....I'm in though, but it kinda pisses me off. I just bought a 4K 86 inch TV so that's cool. Does Disney+ offer 4K streams?

How many years of SVOD content on Disney+ alone (heck throw monthly cable/satellite and internet bill with this while at it) would you get to equate with the cost of that new 4k TV alone or with home theater setup?

I get the extra cost of having an SVOD service as an extra bill but we all know this is never a fixed expense.

True dat....

BUT.....I prefer fixed, as opposed to, ongoing costs. Encroachment into our wallets is insidious. You can't even buy MS Office.....maybe we'll all be renters someday, but that's another subject.

Frankly, Disney+ sounds like a pretty good deal for a guy like me, but I hate being hooked. I liked buying my Alumni membership. I don't like being in constant debt.

Also, I get a LOT of different inputs to my new TV.

I'm not rambling....the wine is. LOL.
