Marvel Films MCU Phase IV!

Why would Nova come before Fantastic Four? For one, Fantastic Four has actually been confirmed by Feige whereas with Nova, it's been years since we've heard anything about that project getting made at all and everything we've heard has been rumors thus far

Fantastic Four is highly likely to be one of these dates

Some of these release dates I doubt Marvel even has a finalized script or personnel even lined up yet.

I think this could be a pre-emptive attempt at keeping competition away from these dates more so than having generally decided on what movies to pick yet.

Disney have never had October slated for a Marvel film. Clearly Joker really struck a nerve and made Disney shiver.

Why would it make them shiver?
Marvel has pumped out a number of billion plus earners, and by all accounts they don't begrudge DC having success

I think the Blade thing is probably the answer, putting out your vampire flick in October just makes sense

LOL. Yeah. Disney is quaking in their boots because a DC Comic Book movie cracked $1B. Really bad for Disney when a movie in the comic book genre makes a lot of money.

Heads up: Kevin Feige will be at Brazilian CCXP on December 7th Saturday. He’ll likely unveil footage from Phase 4 movies like Black Widow(which recently wrapped shooting) and Eternals(which is shooting now) but he may possibly reveal the seven untitled movies that were recently announced to have release dates for 2022 and 2023. Could he announce the FF as a part of these dates? I wouldn’t count on it, but hey never say never, especially with Marvel.

They did announce more Disney Plus shows on August after they already announced the initial batch Comic-Con in July. Who knows? Even if Feige doesn’t explicitly announce a FF movie, I wonder if he will confirm rumors that the villain of the Black Panther sequel is none other than everybody’s favorite tunic wearing Latverian dictator himself: Victor Von Doom. Only time will tell. Fingers crossed but the odds are rather slim.

There's no way he announces the whole slate at a low-tier event, but there's a decent chance we get some sort of announcement.

I’d love to see some Eternals footage.

yeah, no new release announcement at a Brazil event.
its either Disney expo or San Diego comic con for Disney/Feige, right?

The neXt D23 is happening in 2021, if they intend to keep it every 2 years. Who knows if they would show up in Sdcc in 2020 as Marvel Studios don't present there every year.

So I'm guessing they would announce the next couple of films/tv shows by 2021 (their line up for 2023). While I can see them annoucing the other three 2022 films, one by one. Still weird to me, that the February 2022 film wasn't announced but instead, the May 2022 film was announced, especially if Blade doesn't get that Feb 2022 release date.

I hate this. You shouldn't have to watch some streaming show to understand a movie better. I hope this is an exaggeration otherwise they're definitely pushing this a step too far. There will be many more people who won't watch these Disney+ shows but want to enjoy the future movies.

Why is it any less reasonable than requiring a viewer to have viewed a prior movie?

Signing up for Disney+ and 6-8 hours is different then having to watch a season of a show.

I would say most people don't watch the previous film again right before seeing the sequel

No, but then "most people" don't get all the he comic book nods like the milk scene in CA:TWS either...

... and anyway, I'm sure the films will work on their own for the not-we, while the rest of us can do what we usually do which is WATCH THE PREVIOUS FILM/SHOW AGAIN RIGHT BEFORE SEEING THE SEQUEL just because we're fans, it's what we do.

I wasn't even looking forward to that. I thought a Tigra and Dazzler team up cartoon is random. They should just use them in the movies.

I had been thinking Tigra would be fun in the MCU, but after the Cats film debacle, the idea of a film version of Tigra sort of frightens me.:funny:

That seemed like a reach to me as well. Obviously the new boss too. The other shows are exciting though, assuming they make it to the finish line.

I wish I could say otherwise but I have 0 faith in Marvel Studio's being able to develop a syndicated show now. They just are too controlling and stifling. This whole cooperation/collaboration thing can have multiple definitions and I think it cuts only 1 way baseline wise even when considering movies that may be packaged as original and have certain things going for it other factors average it out.

The definition on teamwork after the separation from the Marvel Committee I was hoping would be increased quality but it's just commoditized BS for the most part aimed at a 4 quadrant audience editing stuff to show in China to make rate. I grew up liking the comics for what they were. It had it's place and now time to move on I think if it weren't for the massive amounts of money mediocrity brings.

Sorry but not sorry :hrt::hrt:

that just about all but confirms that fury and the skrulls were building sword at the end of far from home
