Endgame MCU Post Endgame Speculation *spoilers*

Robert Myer Burnett brought up an interesting thing regarding fat Thor in relation to a new mutants story called Asgardian wars and how a character in that had to do a trial where she/he started fat and became in shape over time. I've never read that story line any one know what he is talking about? Ain't re watching 5 hours of campeas spoiler chat to find out lol

Personally I hope we get to see some of Cap's life with the Invaders from the 40's. Union Jack would be amazing! The original Human Torch actually becomes the Vision later in the comics, so that would be a great story line to recreate.

Also if Steve went back in time to restore the gems where they were so those timelines were not disrupted, then that changes the fate of Black Widow. Would be interesting to see where she goes from there.

In terms of Tony Stark, one has to wonder if he has not created an artificial intelligence for himself not unlike what Arnim Zola did in Age of Ultron. Someone has to be there to provide guidance for his daughter if she takes up the mantle.

When you think about it Doctor Strange really was a dick. Even though it was a heroic sacrifice, he just led Stark to his death and didn’t think twice about it.

I wonder if Spidey is gonna call him out on it.

I would love a cap movie of the adventure it must have been to return those stones, mjolnir. ETC..

Also they already established they can de-age him if he wants.

I don't mind if we don't see more of him.
While I doubt we see him again in the MCU (in any substantial role), I'd love for him to be on 1 of the upcoming tv series. Especially as he was rumored to be getting his own.

Cheadle is getting up there in age (he'll be 55 in November) so if he is in the next Avengers movie in 4-5 years, it'll likely be his last.
I gotta admit he's def showing it. He looked way OLD in Infinity War. Either they didn't care to put him in makeup or maybe they wanted him to clearly convey the stress of the injury and being 1 of few Avengers had on his appearance.

When I think of War Machine, I see him as an Iron Man character and the side kick of Iron Man. He's the Falcon/Bucky to Capt. America. The Valkyrie to Thor. I feel like those characters should have been written out and just make more room for the ones headlining their own flicks and future Avengers members that can't have a solo film. They aren't like Black Widow, Hawkeye, Scarlet and Vision who are more fitting as the Avengers, and half of those four already got their endgame in the films, and maybe even Hawkeye.
How is Scarlett Witch and Vision anymore characters than WM or Falcon? SW and Vision may not be sidekicks but they certainly are not headliners either.

I wonder if there will be any tension or awkwardness between the students who were dusted and the ones who weren't. And imagine little brothers who are now big brothers, and stuff like that. Far From Home shouldn't just gloss over it.

Unfortunately I expect FFH will probably just gloss over all that stuff.

But yea, realistically, there'd be some serious issues.

Parents thinking their kids are dead for five years, trying to process that, going through all the stages of grief and moving on as best they can, and then they just pop back up? People who've gotten remarried and then their original spouse comes home?

Also obviously anyone relevant to Peter Parker conveniently got dusted too, so he can still have Ned, Flash, Betty, and MJ as his classmates.

Don't forget people like Cassie who didn't have a parent or parents for 5 years and are now much older. Or a younger brother who now is older than their previously older brother. Etc. There is so much to unpack.

Her mom and stepdad were dusted in the Decimation? I so forgot their characters’ names when Scott was looking at the memorial.

We don't know if they were. I am guessing they were not. But either way, Cassie lost at least 1 parent in the dusting.

WM is Phase One character so I would expect cameo at most. Same for Hawkeye - in his case retirement feels perfectly OK. For sure we can expect Thor (as part of GoG team, maybe some solo movie) and maybe Hulk (but as supporting character of Professor Hulk). As a rule they should rely on new players so who will create the core of Avengers now. It would be natural to move their homebase to Wakanda with BP as a leader, Shuri as tech expert, Wanda, Falcon/Cap and Bucky as "core team". SM is still "junior" on the team, Valkirie is placed as Asgard community leader. Not sure how they want to place CM now however - she is not Earth bound...

Of course there is option with BW doing her great come back with some "extra" powers and getting the chair (as she was in AEG) - I would love this scenario! I know it is a bit repetitive (Quill) but still...

And where the hell is Baron Mordo? A sorcerer of his caliber and Strange didn’t think to let bygones be bygones for one fight and recruit him?

They have individual arcs since Civil War.
What happened to Sam new after Winter Soldier? Nothing.
And even Warmashins accident was very short mentioned..

That's a good point. But it doesn't mean much in regards to their screentimes and overall meaning in the films. SW and Vision are basically sidekicks. They did get their love romance which seemed to be set-up well in Civil War and believable by Infinity War.

I doubt they get a larger role in future films.

They should have at least had Flash not get dusted. His role would have to be reduced until after Peter graduates, but it would have been an interesting change.

Anyone else really want to see Morgan Stark as a jive talking, chip off the old block Iron Heart and/or Iron Maiden (what have you) in 10 years or so?
