MCU vs thread....controversy and chaos

Mjolnir landing on Thanos' chest would have definitely ended the fight. All Cap has to do is let go and Thanos is trapped by something he's unable to lift, because he's not worthy.

Perfect oportunity for Thor to turn up and deliver the coup de gras , and anyone else around to take a free shot for good measure.

It's a question of if Cal knew how to do that though. Plus IM and Thor were out for the count at this point so how do they kill him?

Cap gave a very good fight but he still ultimately lost soundly.

Dr Octopus wins. Next up:

Moon Knight

Cap hits Thanos in the chest , while he's lying on his back, he lets go of Mjolnir - he knows about the worthiness enchantment, in fact that was a whole scene in Age of Ultron where most of them try to lift it.

With Thanos effectively immobilised, Cap strolls over to Thor and picks up Stormbreaker, which he briefly wields in Endgame before giving back to Thor, and then strolls back to Thanos and goes for the head.

Game, set, match.

I still haven't watched the Moon Knight series but I have seen both Venom films.

I'm thinking Venom is a tough customer to beat. You would need brute strength to rip the symbiote from Brock (Hulk, Thor), fire (Human Torch) or sound (Shriek) to kill it. I can't say for certain but does the MCU version of Moon Knight have any of these capabilities? It seems unlikely...

I'll go Venom 8/10 times.

Dr Strange 6/10

Ghost Rider is a human possessed by a demon, rather than a demon himself.

Strange probably knows enough spells to banish the demon - or trap him in the mirror dimension.

However, if GR can get ahold of Strange the penance stare would end things quickly.

Moon Knight vs Venom:

Yeah, I lean to Moon Knight taking it. He's in the same physical bracket, and is more skilled. Mystic costume and fast healing counter any potential options involving tentacles, and that is pretty much that.

Dr Strange vs Ghost Rider:

Strange every time, barring some kind of silly "Ghost Rider starts six inches behind Strange, who is wearing a blindfold and earplugs". Ghosty is just out of his league, he's basically a moderately durable brick with some neat tricks, most of which won't seem nearly as neat to Strange as to the average foe from his movies.

Starlord vs Morbius:

I mean, realistically, Morbius has some decent degree of bullet-time speed, that should be what matters. However, Morbius sucks ( *ahem* ), and is also very much self-serious, so I can totally buy him getting distracted by Peter doing something completely weird and nonsensical. Starlord wins ( because he's not in Morbius ).

I doubt Star-Lord would be overly intimidated by Morbius. He's seen some pretty funky **** out in the cosmos after all...

Star-Lord's dancing, quipping, and general irreverence would probably make Morbius' head explode with any prolonged exposure. I'll give this one to Quill by default.

It's been awhile, but Strange opens up a portal and......

Venom and Moon Knight.......saw 2 episodes of MK and bailed. Didn't see Venom so logic dictates that MK wins.

Star Lord and Morbius........never saw Morbius so, again, logic dictates that Quill wins.

Well, unless Iron
Starlord wins. Next up:

Blackbolt

Well, unless Iron Man attacks at extreme long range Blackbolt destroys him - that armour is just metal plating.

Black Bolt can level a mountain with a cough. There's no way his armour could stand up to that kind of power.

Assuming Iron Man doesn't get a first strike advantage....he's dead. If he does get a first strike it its unclear how tough MCU Black Bolt is, he might survive, he might not.

So Black Bolt at least 7/10.

In the battle of the quicker draws, I have to give it to Tony more often than not. I'm sure it would be a mind-blowing fight.

Iron Man

Black Bolt vs Iron Man:

Too little information to say. We know Black Bolt was the 'big gun' of the Illuminati, but beyond his voice attack we know nothing about his powers, and particularly about how durable he is. "Able to be killed by a reality warping attack by juiced-up Wanda" leaves room for his durability to be anything from "Basically human" to "Too durable for Iron Man to hurt at all".

If I had to make a call based on inferences and implications, I'd say Black Bolt wins, because he's *probably* supposed to be durable enough that he could survive Tony's attacks long enough to yell at him or otherwise attack. However, that's mostly based on the assumption that Wanda *needed* to do the reality warping attack to take him out, and that is just that: an assumption.

I agree that BB's powers are so far ill-defined within the context of the MCU, whereas Tony's are quite explicit.

However, my general understanding is that Black Bolt's "quasi-sonic scream" can destroy planets at full strength. I don't see how Iron Man would stand a chance...

Black Bolt 8/10
