I had an interesting thought, not sure if it's practical at all and wouldn't fail but it would be a fascinating approach. I remember years ago Ron Howard was attached to direct a Dark Tower movie and was trying to pitch a trilogy of films with a miniseries tv show between the films that way they can tell much more of the story. I was thinking they could potentially do something similar with X-Men, have the movies be the big defining moments in the universe and then continue the story in a tv series. It would be an interesting way to explore the vast amount of characters. Maybe have the stars of the films have reoccurring/guest roles and the cast is focused more on the school.

This is what George Lucas did starting with Clone Wars. It's possible but only after significant corporate restructuring.

i could see them reworking them to build up the mutants in the MCU. there is no reason to rush into an X-Men movie they could even go the avengers route and do some stand alones that set up the X-Men.

Disney could make bank on it in 2022. Amazing Spider-Man 2 existing three years earlier didn't stop Homecoming from making $880 million worldwide.

Yes. Also, Spider-Man is a solo hero. With the X-Men Marvel has the advantage of exploring different characters that were not explored in the FOX X-Men movies. And boy, the list of A-List underdeveloped characters is huge: Scott, Storm, Rogue, Kitty, Kurt, Colossus, Psylocke... Oh come on, just everyone not named Eric, Charles and Logan.

So they can make a movie even more exciting and very different from what FOX has done.

Antman is also more entertaining than most of the xmen movies as well. Lol
but Like I said. Xmen will sell in the mcu. But it's a little unfair comparing it to spiderman who happens to be like the most widely recognized highest grossing solo hero. All I meant was it wouldn't hurt if marvel didn't jump right into making xmen movies.

Do you think Feige will at least consider the idea of merging the Fox verse if Dark Phoenix is good? It would stupid to not at least consider it imo when you have Lawrence, McAvoy and Fassbender already lined up. You wouldn't want to just give up that cast. If you have them under contract. Plus if Disney backs up a huge truck full of money to Jackman's front door to come back "one last time" in Avengers vs X-Men. I think people would accept a new wolverine more easily if Hugh was there to pass the torch. He could play an alternate wolverine from a different timeline if he wants to something different. One where hes not a leader but more of a team player.

McAvoy, Fassbender, and Lawrence's contracts were up after X-Men Apocalypse. FOX had to sign all three to expensive one-off deals to get them to come back for Dark Phoenix.

Not from India, Indian American. Should have clarified that. And it's either that or using a bunch of obscure X-Men members who are poc.

X-Men has such a diverse variety of characters, but FOX decided to focus on three characters .

Storm was always relegated to a background role. She was just a token character.

Thankfully that will change with the MCU. Storm along with Scott and Jean should be the new leads of the franchise; the trinity. But every member should get sufficient character development. No more "Charles vs Erik and Raven: Guest starring the X-Men"

Cause Scott and Jean should be left alone imo. And I didn't know Siryn was specifically Irish, I only know her from X-Force where her nationality/ethnicity was never mentioned as far as I know. Well, in that case, you can make Dazzler latino instead. So:

- Cyclops (white)
- Jean (white)
- Ororo (black)
- Hank (Indian)
- Bobby (white LGBTQ or Asian)
- Allison (Latino)
- Jubilee (Asian)

You could also replace Hank with Forge (native American) but I'd rather have Hank over him

They should leave the race scheme for the X-Men alone. They're already diverse as they come. The blue characters like Beast and Mystique are a toss up though.

It's all fun and games and diversity until Storm is a white woman in the MCU. Lol smh.
