MCU X-Men - Part 3

Emma Watson was my choice for younger Jean back in 2015, though I kinda want a taller actress for Jean (as well as Storm, Rogue and Psylocke).

I’m trying to keep an open mind to all the possible variations, but I really only see her as Marvel Girl.

I actually think she would make a better Sue Storm.

I havent followed Emma Watson's career but how is she with an American accent? Thats one of the more distracting thing about Sansa's portrayal as Jean.

Psylocke - British
Kurt - German
Colossus/Magik - Russian

A lot of Fox films didn't stay true to their nationality. I think Kurt/Logan were the only ones that had their nationality (and accent) right in all of the films they have appeared in.

The thing about that, Emma is too intense to play Sue Storm. Even though Sue isn’t really a doormat, I think you need a softer actress to play her.

I mean it’s not the best, but at the same time not the worst. If you’re a big fan of hers, you’d notice it and notice that she’s atleast trying. But if you don’t really follow her like that, I think you wouldn’t mind.

I don't think it would be redundant since Jean, Emma, the stepford Cuckoos, Rachel, Xavier, David, etc... are all telepaths and all americans.

I don't think so. It's just that most of the actors that come to mind seem to be British.

I wouldn't mind Emma Watson as Jean Grey but my favourite for the role would be Saoirse Ronan.

I like Emma Watson and she can do fine American accents but she'll be 30 next year and I would prefer somebody younger for Jean and the core X-Men. How Marvel cast Wanda and Pietro Maximoff may be a good clue as to how they could cast the X-Men. Olsen and Taylor-Johnson were 24 and 23 when they were cast in 2013.

The Cuckoos and Rachel arent likely to be X-men. David and Xavier are males. I was specifcally looking at the females. Jean, Emma and Betsy are the 3 main ones and have the highest shot of being in the films

I get it, but you still have Emma and Jean. And Psylocke's powers is already different than Jean's. Also, I firmly believe they'll skip the body transfer and have an asian Psylocke from the get go.

For Xavier, I have Ralph Fiennes in mind, though Marvel united has suggested Jason Isaacs, which I'm not against. But I also find Giancarlo Esposito intriguing for the role.

I would prefer Oded Fehr for Magneto personally, but if we couldn't get him or any jewish actors for the role, I'd kinda dig Denzel Washington.

I'd support Emma Watson for anything tbh but I really do associate her right now with Belle/Hermione the most, so she wouldn't be my first choice.

Anyway I'm glad to see Zoey Deutch showing up in the list of names... I saw Set It Up and she is very charming. I was shocked to find out she's only a year older than me.

I see Jean more than Rogue, but I don't know, Zoey has spunk/attitude and Jean is so vanilla. Although this is the MCU, so maybe she could play quippy Jean Grey.

They really should bring that character back, or recast him if ATJ doesn’t want to return.

Killing Quicksilver off that fast was not a good look.

I have no idea who that second image is Jh7058622 and I forget the name of the 3rd, but I think 3rd looks too boyish. Shia is an interesting idea, but he's 32, and despite that I can see some kind of look there, I don't know if I see him in the role.

Same here but maybe she can be synonymous with a Marvel role too. After Hermione we didn't know we would be adding Belle so maybe she can add another definitive role.
