Ideally I would love for Storm to be late 20s, early 30s the most but I think we underestimate Chadwick Boseman in this equation. That man has really good genes, he could be passable for a younger age.

What would people think about having Storm cast slightly older than the rest of the X-Men like in the Evolution cartoon? She'd be a leader of the team and a teacher at the mansion.

I don't think I'd mind. My favourites for the role (Yaya DaCosta and Jade Eshete) are in their thirties. I could see Storm playing the big sister role for the team.

Keke is a choice I can get behind and one I haven't really thought about. I could see her conveying those qualities in Storm as well and she's young which is perfect.

I don't see Aja as Storm, she looks too, uh, "girlish" if that's the right word? Like she has a really round face and soft features which is not what I want for Ororo. She reminds of me Ariana Grande in the sense that she looks 16 years younger than her age.

Kylie being half white may open up a can of worms, but I can see it.

Jade is a choice I really dig. Because I can easily see her playing a fierce, majestic, authoritative Storm and the compassionate, motherly side of her. Like a compassionate goddess

Ororo Munroe. And she looks young enough to play a mid to late 20s Storm without looking 14-ish like Aja (No offense to Aja)

Now that's Ororo Munroe. She screams royalty

I mean, she was in Black Klansman, so if Spike Lee cast her- she must be a good actress. I'll check out some of her movies but that's the perfect look for Ororo, perfect vibe imo.

Especially with her already being cast in Lion King, and Disney has this tendency to recycle their stars, I REALLY REALLY REALLY hope they don’t try some **** with making Beyoncé be Storm. I just feel it in the pit of my stomach for some reason.

Beyonce got cast for singing voice and name recognition imo. Shes a pretty weak actress otherwise. Feige and co have been great about casting so far. I dont see that changing by time X-Men gets it's due.

Dony worry Beyonce would never do Storm. She'd have to commit to like a decade worth of films and with having young children and an actual music career which includes touring, its not a commitment she can do

Agreed. Kinda like in early 2015 when Feige clarified that Spider-Man would be in HS. It would be nice to get some pointers as to what direction Feige wants to take the X-Men

This could would also allow a potential coupling with Boseman's T'Chaka that's more age appropriate, while other X-Men members can be younger (college/high school).

Storm got shafted on that cartoon because of the age difference between her and the A-List core X-men so I wouldn't want the movies to make that mistake.

Obviously I want a dark skinned actress for Storm but also I really want one that serves that look, strong profile, theatrical voice, shoulder pads aunt viv level warmth and strength





I would love the MCU storm to have that look even though white stains so easily

A quick look at just some of her recent interviews, she gives off a very poised, strong and cool demeanor. I would hope that'd translate on screen; in my opinion, the little bit I've seen of her screams Storm.

I like the casting (Jenner's been my own pick for a while now too), but I'm still not here for the helmet/mask/hood. I could possibly compromise with the 90's face sock but just because it stirs up so much cool 90s X-Men iconography.
