I never want to see Nicholas Hoult in a comic book movie ever again. He was flatter than diet coke in Tolkien. He ruined The Beast.
Evans was iconic as Human Torch. Thats his most well known role before he got the role of Captain America.
Captain America is his most well-known role. Way more people has seen him as Cap in the MCU than they’ve seen “Not Another Teen movie”.I think we can all agree his most well known role including as captain America would be his role in “not another teen movie”
IThey only hire actors who played Johnny Storm.
Jokes aside, both Evans and Jordan weren't iconic in their FOX roles. So while I do see them hiring actors like Hoult, for instance, I don't see them hiring actors like Stewart, Jackman, McAvoy, etc...
But, who knows...
Hoult did not write the script or direct the movie. Beast was not his fault. The hate for the FC actors here Is completely irrational. They are damn good actors. Kinberg and Singer deserve the blame not themI never want to see Nicholas Hoult in a comic book movie ever again. He was flatter than diet coke in Tolkien. He ruined The Beast.
I am 100% sure Silvermoth was being facetious.Captain America is his most well-known role. Way more people has seen him as Cap in the MCU than they’ve seen “Not Another Teen movie”.
Those headgears are usually full on helmets attached to some kind of high level techno based gear or armor. The Stark armors, Pym's Ant-Man/Wasp suits, the Shuri designed BP suit, ans the Iron Spider suit fall within that category. But as you noted, Cap didn't have that, the CW BP suit didn't and the first costume Tony gave Peter were all more in the classical idea of mask/cowl type wear. All of a sudden I have questions about what they're gonna do with Wolverine's mask. Almost everyone in the MCU who wears something on their head (short of Captain America and Daredevil) eventually upgrades to headgear that completely disappears and reappears at a thought. Doesn't really seem like Wolverine's style, but then I'm like, "Could the wings of the mask like fold up or..." and now I can't sleep.
I love the banana split scene!I think we can all agree his most well known role including as captain America would be his role in “not another teen movie”
No he didn’t write the script and no he didn’t come up with the very un-Hank McCoy lines, we already have people to blame for that not the least of whom are Singer and Kinberg. But Hoult (and JLaw) also has some hilariously terrible acting in these movies and some really bad reaction shots. McAvoy has some bad lines too, his showdown with Apocalypse comes to mind, but James makes it work.I

Completely the wrong body type but between Storm and Wolverine, it's great that these roles and characters are still sought after by actors.
Yes and it's still a valid point. Feige has shown us he isn't shy about going in a totally different direction from previous iterations of other studio's characters.Didn't people say that about Hugh Jackman though?

Different? Yes. Closer to the comics that Hugh wasn't. That's a no. Why go with a Keanu Wolverine when you can go for a comic-accurate Wolverine?Keanu would be pretty different tho. Hes fliterted with Marvel Studios at least twice before so I wouldn't be surprised if his name was in the mix again.
Well I just told you it matters to me. I bet I'm not alone in that.Does it really matter if the casting is not entirely comic accurate? You gotta have some leeway when adapting source material.
