How would you view Fox Rogue? She had an important part of the narrative but does she still count a lead being one of the junior characters?I know some people don't like the idea of "leads" in these films, but the reality is, that's how most ensemble films are structured, including the Avengers films.
Fox anchored the OT around Logan, and then Charles & Erik in the PT, specifically, because those are the characters who could carry the narrative; stories compelling enough to anchor a narrative around.
If it was up to me, the story of Scott & Jean (and Sinister by extension) would the narrative anchor of these new films, because the Summers family is a narrative goldmine that Fox never touched, and it could carry an entire trilogy.
Absolutely. Rogue was the audience surrogate in the first act, before they passed it to Logan in the second (meeting the X-Men). But Rogue also served symbolic purpose of being the purest personification of the mutant experience. How would you view Fox Rogue? I mean the easiest way would be have an entry character like jubilee or shadowcat as the lead and the x-men are seen through her eyes
They didn't even say her name out loud.so I don't know if she had a bigger roles in thoses film

I remember watching the first trailer for Ms Marvel and thinking about a Jubilee show. Very bright, very colourful, very fun, very young, very comicbook-ish... that's a vibe a see for her.Jubilee seems exactly like the sorta character Marvel would center in an X-Men film and I’m all for that.

I think she has a great chance of featuring in a big way in the first film.
Y'know, I was thinking the same thingI remember watching the first trailer for Ms Marvel and thinking about a Jubilee show. Very bright, very colourful, very fun, very young, very comicbook-ish... that's a vibe a see for her.
A Jubilee show could work really well in that style. Hopefully that’s on the radar.I remember watching the first trailer for Ms Marvel and thinking about a Jubilee show. Very bright, very colourful, very fun, very young, very comicbook-ish... that's a vibe a see for her.
And Jubilee as the audience surrogate presents great opportunity for them to (emotionally) plug the story into Scott & Ororo, as they all share the same background of being orphans.A Jubilee show could work really well in that style. Hopefully that’s on the radar.
Yeah.
I'd prefer it to be Jubilee myself.
I didn't see AOA or Dark Phoenix ,so I don't know if she had a bigger roles in thoses film, but in the other films, she didn't have a chance to shine.
We saw her take that role in the 90s X Men cartoon , but not in live action
So I'd like her be our entry point in the Marvel X Men Films.

Too many to count. But I think the prime ones for me would be-- Savage Land, Mutant Massacre, Fatal Attractions, and God Loves, Man KillsI feel like we've talked a lot on here about what characters everyone wants to see but I'm curious, what are some classic X-Men storylines/events/arcs that people would love to see in the MCU?
I'd love to see Messiah Complex happen at some point, and Mutant Massacre would be great. I've said before, but I'd love some kinda Squid Game-esque riff on Murderworld. Would also love to see The Brood in there somewhere and I think Age of Apocalypse is so worthy of redemption, as a major Avengers style arc after a couple of mutant film phases![]()
Oh, I'll second that: Mutant Massacre, Fatal Attraction and God Loves, Man Kills. Adding Messiah Complex as well.Too many to count. But I think the prime ones for me would be-- Savage Land, Mutant Massacre, Fatal Attractions, and God Loves, Man Kills
