I'm a software developer. I knew exactly what was going on. Only an ADMIN could have done what they were doing on THEIR end. The password battle is evidence of that... unless they themselves were hacked (possible but not likely).

I don't know if it was DM himself that did it.... I personally thought it was pretty obvious that he did... but, of course there's no way to know. He did however personally participate in the thread and he was the one that banned me personally eventually. I had been there only for a week... and I thought all my posts were well-worded and not trolling. It didn't merit what the ADMINS (whichever one it was) did.

It's pretty much how he gets his kicks. Ever heard of his hijinks during Natural Born Killers (fake letters sent to magazines)? Once again you may choose to not believe or care. But his actions speak for themselves.

Although they changed my password they didn't change my e-mail. When I got my account back (password reset), after a couple of posts where I pretty much said "ha ha very funny... cut it out" they would change my password again.

This happened several times...... from two different computers (home and work). It was sooooooooo obvious (from my POV) that it was an admin screwing with me. Am I jumping to conclusions that it was indeed DM himself? Perhaps. If you read the thread... I thought it was pretty obvious.

You aren't a very good software developer if you think it would be hard to hack your account on a message board. To assume it was DM or an Admin and accuse them without a shred of evidence shows an incredible lack of common decency. Two of those facts are easily proved...the other is a wild assumption that you cannot hope to prove. One of these things is not like the other......

Occam's Razor... if the account was hacked, then the Admins should have seen it and banned the originating IP (which would not be my IP address since it would be impossible for the hacker to know my IP address via a forum... much less follow me to totally different machine and a completely different network behind a Wall Street grade corporate level firewall).

Either some hacker gained Admin access to DM.NET in its entirety (in which case why single me out??? Why not just wreak havoc on the board completely?) or it was one of the Admins having fun. Based on everything that happened those are the ONLY two possibilities. But, you're free to believe what you wish.

Accounts are hacked all the time, usually by a spoiled brat with a vendetta against someone like you. They follow you around and run some simple hacks they pass around in their little circle that make them feel like elite haxxors or some such non-sense, half the time not knowing what the hell they are really doing. Or perhaps the whole story is made up by you in another attempt at bashing a production for a movie you have yet to see. Those are two more possibilities that occur to me. There are probably a hand full of others if you thought long enough.
