I think some were worried that Sunspot from DOFP and Johnny would look too much alike.

Looks like we can put those fears to rest. Johnny looked great . He was always my favorite of the four and it looks like he'll continue to be my favorite of the four .

Looking at the full version of the new trailer it does look like he Flames Up using that control on his wrist.

My guess is he will have no control of his powers and can't turn them off so the suit will have something in it that suppresses them, then when he wants the "Flame On" he turns it off at the wrist control.

I think he almost hit Sue. Him getting over anxious and not thinking.

I think it's fair to say they never will at this point.

The consensus from what I've read is overall quite positive. I wtched three reaction vids and they all loved it and comments on YouTube have been very positive. Less 'why is Johnny black' and less 'give the rights away' comments as before and a few 'wasn't interested but excited now' posts

I see this probably going the same way.

And funny you bring up the race thing again, because no one (on the more negative front) has said anything about that since the first 3 weeks it was known, except those that keep bringing it up to bring it up.

I assume they are all being checked, tested and doom kills everyone putting them on edge and then that middle gif is Johnny and Sue really on edge and that is just a reactionary attack.
