I'm completely fine with Talia being involved as the vengeful mystery baddie. She had an integral part in the Tower of Babel storyline.(A good story by the way) I have wanted her in Nolans universe as the next femme fatale ahead of Selina in the 3rd Bat film but I'm glad she will be used in this JL film from what it seems.

I think she could have been introduced in Begins. Picture this, Bruce is allowed into Ra's monastery and after being taken in by Ducard, he meets his daughter, Talia, who is also under training. Bruce trains alongside her, and, eventually they kind of fall for each other as usually happens. Everything is fine and well until Bruce and Ducard have a fallout concerning Bruce's real reason to have been allowed into the League of Shadows, and how he and Talia would lead the League of Shadows into the plot to destroy Gotham. (We see the infamous scene where Bruce nukes the monastery) and amidst the chaos, Talia "dies" .... possibly by trying to save her father, Bruce, or both. *** Then we see how Ducard was really Ra's at Bruce's party and pretty much the same good stuff we saw in BB.

That way, when Talia is revealed in JL as the baddie, we already have a connection with her, in a way, and it is understandable that Bruce is "crushed" to see that she is alive after all, having been involved romantically with her in the past, and that she is pulling the strings. Of course, that would definitely link the BB universe with the JL universe, but at least the audience would kind of know her...

Yeah, and I personally hope it remains that way. But at the same time, that little scenario would have provided some much needed exposition for Talia, if she's going to be the secret, big reveal villain in JL.

yea it would be cool if she was in the film since bb didnt include her i really wanted her to be there when i found out ras was the villain for the film. But for jla i rather see some other villain being the mastermind like lex, darkseid as others said or someone else, i dont know who i more a marvel guy then dc and only know villains who are big namers/ seen in the various dc cartoons.

However how sure are you that Sanchez's guy is so far behind the 8 ball on this?

Because Sanchez has fallen for every single rumor that's come along since the original one.

And because HollywoodInsider, the guy who is tipping Sanchez and acting like he's in the know on the boards at IESB, apparently thought "Talia" being the villain was some enormous reveal. It's not, it's been rumored for months, ever since that first synopsis of the film broke. I think this thread makes it obvious that most of us knew that was the likely scenario.

Unless it was he that broke that news back then (And if so, why's he trying to break it again?), I think he's just latching onto the fanboy mania for his 15 minutes at IESB.

When Bijou and Dumahal were rumoured to have tested.....I assumed it was for Talia as well.

Mainly because there is no way she would be given the chance as WW.

even if the twist leaked, they shouldnt re-write the script. it was written that way for a reason, and thats because they felt it was a good twist that best suited the story. and the twist should suit the story, not the other way around. otherwise it's likely gonna come off as forced or contrived.

Exactly right. Plus, we tend to make ourselves more significant that what in reality we actually are. We are borderline insignificant in the broader scope of things. Think of the amount of people that have no idea what story of the JL movie will be or that even know a movie is getting made. I love it when people say it was negative buzz by the fans that stopped Abrams Superman from being made or now there are those that know the JL twist therefore the ending will be rewritten. Puhlease! Like WB gives a damn about the 40 "nerds" that know the twist of the JL movie.
