No,no,no we've got it all wrong... he'll beat up Al Qaeda... because He's Batman...
sure Prep Time will help, so will the near-endless arsenal he keeps on his utility belt... Shark Repellant included... but all will fall to the badassness that is Batman... Right now a crippled Batman could pwn Iron sidekick...

I have yet to read the actual book, so I can't tell you how he does it. But it isn't unfathomable. He has the technology. Track them with the JLA satelite, take Robin, Nightwing, Huntress and Cassandra with him in a new Batplane. Start unloading the cans...bust out the can opener and open up a can of whoop ass. It's all a simple recipe for Batman, beatings and propoganda. All words starting with my favorite bilabial stops....which happen to be the only two bilabial stops.

about the changes to spider-man though

Who's the Iron sidekick?

Iron-Sidekick - noun:

Definition 1) One who serves as an armored ward or right hand, to Anthony Stark.

Also See: Jim Rhodes (War Machine)

Also See: Peter Parker (Spider-Man)

Definition 2) A pejorative term for Spider-Man, during his tenure as Tony Stark's assistant. The term is a direct reference to the ironman based suit, that Spider-Man donned, starting in issue #529 of the monthly publication, Amazing Spider-Man

I think that is enough of the sarcasm. But yeh...you get the idea.

My sarcasm was better because you actually typed out sarcastic definitions of what an Iron sidekick was...and I already knew.
